This hotel is situated on a main road in the attractive tourist Gothic quarter at the heart of Barcelona. Las Ramblas and some of the most popular sights of the city are situated just a few minutes' walk away. Guests will find shops and entertainment venues nearby.

The hotel was modernised in 2024. 6 junior suites, 13 suites, 125 single rooms and 125 double rooms are located on 7 storeys and can be reached by lift. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Guests receive a welcome drink upon arrival. Amenities include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe and currency exchange service. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities.     Best location - so accessible to everything. The rooftop atmosphere is amazing. Book your sunbed in advance if you want a guaranteed spot during siesta hours. Great for a sunset drink too!I didn't book an "upgraded" room, so my expectations were low. The room was so spacious and clean!Noise on the hotel floor was low - huge win. I was greeted with a glass of cava on arrival, and a bottle of cava came with the room. Great added touch. All in all - I would recommend this place to all of my friends!

    We spent a week at Grand Hotel Central in Barcelona and could not have been more happy with the location, friendly staff, and rooftop bar and pool. The staff were very accommodating and we opted for the breakfast buffet. Rooms are generous and well-appointed. The concierge was very helpful with dinner reservations and recommendations. I would stay here again.

    We had a very pleasant 3 night stay The hotel is very well located across from old walled city. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The concierge was extremely helpful in getting us restaurant reservations and tickets to the Picasso Museum which is a short walk from the hotel. We thought the breakfast buffet was very good.
