Location

This luxury hotel is located on the Avenida Diagonal, not far from the renowned Camp Nou Stadium. It takes 15 minutes on foot to reach the centre and the nearest shops are just 100 m away. The underground station Maria Cristina is just a stone's throw away. It is approximately 15 km to El Prat airport.

Facility

The hotel has 24 suites, 74 single rooms and 402 double rooms, which are located on 19 storeys and are reachable by lift. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the 24-hour reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe and currency exchange service. Wireless internet access (for a fee) is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. There are also a number of shops that make for great strolling and browsing. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Additional facilities include a TV room. The pleasantly heated water of the indoor and outdoor pools guarantees comfortable swimming. For breakfast, lunch and dinner, guests serve themseves at the buffet or choose their preferred fare from the menu (for lunch and dinner). Diet meals and children's meals can be prepared on request.     We spent two nights here while exploring the city. The location isn’t particularly central, but a short walk to the nearest tube station puts you just 15–20 minutes from the city centre, which is perfectly manageable. The room itself was clean, well put together, and the shower was good.The coffee shop downstairs is a highlight, and the rooftop bar is enjoyable, though be prepared for loud music! And the same applies to the ground floor restaurant, which serves decent food but has the volume firmly cranked up. I’d imagine it gets significantly noisier when a sports game is on! There’s also a dedicated restaurant within the hotel, which we didn’t get to try, and the spa and pool look like they’d be good to enjoy in the later summer months.Staff were friendly and reasonably prompt at sorting any issues, though the charge for a single teabag was frankly absurd. The lifts are a little chaotic, and it’s easy to find yourself stranded on the wrong floor. It’s possible that the hotel caters heavily to conferences and event, as we saw a few forums, and bridal parties taking place!A comfortable stay, just bring your own tea bags!

    I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough — every single aspect of our stay was exceptional, but what truly made it outstanding was the staff.From the moment we arrived, everyone went above and beyond to make my mum’s 65th birthday incredibly special. After I had reached out in advance, the team ensured that every detail was handled with such care and attention — it really exceeded all expectations.A huge thank you to the entire team — Erica and everyone else were absolutely on point throughout. The service was warm, genuine, and consistently excellent. The waiting staff were brilliant (and it was so lovely to be looked after by the same team who had cared for us during a previous stay with my family — that personal touch meant a lot).The chef and kitchen team were fantastic, especially in accommodating us with a thoughtful vegan menu — we both felt so well looked after.     Here on a ‘special’ rate as part of an exhibition in town. Booked this hotel for 2 reasons - the roof terrace and spa. Little did I know the Barcelona game was on the first night so hotel food was stripped back to pizza and beer on the ground floor and the roof terrace was closed from the moment we arrived (4pm) for football package guests only. Day 2 was to relax and enjoy spa - nope that wasn’t included even though the receptionist said it was. 35eur pp extra on top of 350euro a night! Complete waste of money to be an unfavourable location for Barcelona in general. If you want to feel like an unwelcome guest - book here!

    Terrible experience. Customer service was very poor all around. front desk reception was not very knowledgeable nor were they very interested in helping housekeeping was atrocious. I called down several times asking for some important supplies, like coffee and soap, which I never received. On one occassion, I called housekeeping to ask for a fork and plate. It took over an hour and FOUR phone calls to finally get it. I complained to management and really received the very negligible response. This property should not be a Hyatt property and management should be ashamed of themselves.
