  H10 Catalunya, I love you!

  We came as a large group, coming from a Sun Princess cruise after 7 nights. We were prebooked and taken care of by Marie who handled all of our reservations and prepayments with such patience and grace. Our check/in process for so many people was pretty smooth and timely. The elevator was great because I had a wheelchair. My daughter and I got Room 311 which was amazing because we had a balcony and a view of the Plaça de Catalunya, I am not fond of touristy areas, but I understand why this hotel is rated so well. If you have to be in the thick of things in the touristy part of Barcelona, this has to he one of the best locations if you don't mind being in the heart of the tourist area. Its close proximity to La Rambla, El Corte Ingles and Primark, not to mention being next door to Zara and steps away from what came to be our favorite tapas place in this square, H10 has won us over. The room was so nice and comfortable. We got slippers and toiletry bags. Those little touches that matter. Water bottles were courtesy of the hotel, which is a bonus. And the beds were really comfortable.Because some of my group and myself smoke, we absolutely loved and appreciated the lounge on level P!! Super bonus!!I hope to visit Barcelona again, probably not in the heart of the touristy area, but I kind of don't mind if we did, just so we can stay here again.   Disappointed with the size of the room more suitable for single occupancy.TV didn’t work. Door to terrace did not lock. Lift did not go to our room on the 5th floor. Inroom amenities good. Great location but £1,000 for a 3 night stay with breakfast did not represent good value for money.   Best central Location, the hotel has very cozy rooms beautiful design and great natural light we had great first impressions by Audry she helped us with the sofa bef set upsnd also brought us extra towels and took care of us right as we arrived.   Worst Hotel for noise !

  In all my years of travel this is the noisiest hotel ! Our room was situated near the bar & kitchen area along with a staff private room next door to our room. The reception staff was very unwelcoming which did not change during our 3 day stay.We had a room service cart parked permanently outside our room & was the hub for housekeeping & other staff to meet.Location of the hotel is great & the amenities are lovely but it was let down by the staff & in our case their total unwillingness to help remedy the issue. This was not a “budget cost” room …paid many months in advance after several back & forth emails to make sure we were booking a high level room with balcony ! Apparently not.
