Facility

This hotel was renovated in 2025. The hotel has 4 lifts and features 7 single rooms and 150 double rooms. The multilingual staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Guests receive a welcome drink upon arrival. Amenities include a baggage storage service and a safe. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas (no extra charge). Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. Additional facilities include a TV room. Further services and facilities include medical assistance, room service (limited hours and for a fee), an alarm call service and a laundry service. Daily newspapers will keep you informed. A projector, a flip chart and pens and a photocopier can be found in the conference area. The congress service offers support with all aspects of event organisation. A conference room is available for conferences, lectures and meetings.

Air conditioning and adjustable central heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. Guests are sure to get a good night's sleep in the double bed.     Excellent location, price, and food.

    We arrived in Barcelona as the teacher strike was in progress that proceeded down the street in front of our hotel so our taxi driver could not get us any closer than about two blocks away! The teachers were very kind in letting us cross through their moving, very noisy, parade ~ a new experience to be sure!After an all night flight and maneuvering our luggage to the hotel, we were so grateful to be able to be checked in earlier than the normal time. The hotel staff were all very helpful and accommodating. The room was clean and well maintained and fairly quiet even though it was on the front facing a main street. The location is excellent and in an area that gives options for walking to several places of interest. ~ The Ramblas, Gracis Street, Gaudi's famous apartments, Sagrada Famile (about 40 min. walk), and the marina.The buffet breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of choices (if they didn't have what you wanted, I'm not sure you needed it!!). It was very well done.The price was good in a city that is becoming increasingly rather expensive but we've found it's worth paying more and being close to the centre of things than trying to save a wee bit and having to get into town from the outskirts.The metro is very close by also as an option.I would highly recommend this property.

    All wonderful but needs an update

    Considering how pricey lodgings are in Barcelona, this was an excellent option. The hotel is in the heart of the Gothic Center, about 2 minutes from Urquinaona metro station, very walkable to the Ramblas, the marina, the cathedral, going in the other direction, Gracias street and Gaudi's famous apartment, and of course tons of restarurants. The morning buffet is more than adequate. The staff all very friendly and spoke English. We were however placed in the rear tower. Clean and comfortable to be sure, but when there is no USB charging port at the bedside, you know the place needs a serious update.     Agree with the AI review summary (except we didn’t encounter any unforeseen charges). Would be nice to have coffee making facilities in the room but otherwise no gripes. Our third floor room looked over the pool and sun terrace, so zero road noise.     Pretty good but could be better.

    Great location in the gothic quarter, within walking distance of Plaça de Catalunya where it’s easy to get the aerobus to and from the airport. Lots of restaurants, coffee shops and bars tucked away in back streets. The staff on reception are friendly and welcoming and always greeted us as we walked by. We didn’t have breakfast so can’t comment on that, but did use the piano bar for coffee to take to the room as there are no facilities to make your own. The rooms aren’t huge but there was plenty room for two of us with a decent shower & bath. Our room was refreshed daily with clean towels available if requested. The rooms have laminate flooring and quite thin walls. We were next to people who walked around in, what sounded like, high heels in the early hours of the morning. You can also hear ALL the bathroom sounds! If your neighbours keep different hours to you, it doesn’t make for a very restful stay. For this reason, we would think twice before staying here again.
