This hotel is located only 10 minutes from the city centre and is perfectly placed for a walk along 2 of the most famous streets in Barcelona: the Passeig de Gràcia, where guests can see some of the Gaudi’s works such as the Casa Batlló and La Pedrera and take advantage of some great shopping, with all the biggest well-known brands, and the Rambla Cataluña with its wide range of tapas bars and nightspots where it is possible to enjoy any kind of drink al fresco on one of the many terraces.

    Everything was fantastic except the noise outside the room facing the coffeeshops, and the fact that at night we could not block the noise by closing the window as the air conditioner would not go below 2( degrees. Other than that, the room spotless- nice reception people, great service with a smile, wonderful location. Will recommend to friends- and definitely return .

    Great location close to 2 metro stops that allow you to get anywhere in the city easily. Super friendly staff, comfortable beds & convenient kitchen, and a nice gym onsite. They also provide free bottled water which was a great bonus! I would definitely stay here again.

    Good points were that the shower had good pressure, great location near to a metro stop, big bed with comfortable pillows and duvet and it was good having a full sized fridge to use. The iron and ironing board provided were very good. Nice coffee shop underneath hotel but some noise from the nearby bar on weekend nights and when football games were on.Now for the bad - there needs to be more care and attention paid to the rooms as they are definitely not worth the price or the current rating. Our stay was average at best for this price range. There was no mirror in the room despite there being a dressing table (the only mirror is in the bathroom), there was a lack of kitchen items (for 2 people we had 1 plate, 1 pasta bowl and 1 fork.There were no sharp knives, cooking spoons or cutting boards available even after requesting), poor air conditioning (most days the room was warmer than the outside temperature and struggled to bring the temperature down by more than 2 degrees from starting point), the bathroom was starting to get mouldy and was dirty in places, the bathroom mirror needed replacing due to spoiling and the towel rail and certain other bathroom elements were rusty. The coffee mugs provided did not fit on the espresso machine and no kettle was available.There is no separation between the entrance door and the sleeping area so all noise carried from the corridor - we were woken early on a number of occasions by other guests and staff making noise in the corridor. The hairdryer provided required you to hold in a button to operate but this was very small and difficult compared to others I have experienced. The shower drained very slowly and overspilled onto the floor. Bathroom had other issues - water damage to ceiling, warped door etc.Overall, our stay disappointing for the price paid and given we had relied on previous reviews saying this was a good/excellent property. There needs to be more care and attention paid to the rooms and their upkeep.

    This was our second time staying here. We were very happy to be able to check in early for an extra nominal fee as we arrived before 10 am. Check-in and out super fasy and easy. Great location with many grocery stores and restaurants within blocks of the hotel. Nice room. Clean. We never used the TV in room, its not a smart TV. Luckily, I brought my Ipad for entertainment. During this stay, on the weekend it was a little noisy at night since there's a club around the corner. Young people screaming in the street for a couple hours after leaving the club. Overall, we like this hotel and would definitely return again if we are in Barcelona.
