  Filthy Room, Rude Staff & Completely Overpriced

  Absolutely disgusted with our stay here. When I pulled out the sofa bed, there was a dead bug on it (which I have a photo of). Reception asked a cleaner who was working in the lobby to remake the bed. While removing the duvet, the sheets came loose and revealed a mattress protector covered in crumbs, debris, and several brown and yellow stains. It was filthy.The bed itself was extremely uncomfortable, the room was dusty, and there was a strong vinegar-like odour throughout both the room and the hallways.I also found the hotel setup concerning from a security point of view. On the ground floor there is a public seating area where anyone can walk in, while reception is upstairs. It felt like people could easily access the room areas from the public level without any proper control.I complained to reception the following morning and was simply told “we cleaned it, so the problem was sorted.” No apology, no accountability, and the staff were rude and dismissive throughout.Completely unacceptable considering we paid €306 for one night. Definitely not the standard you would expect for that price, and I would not stay here again.   Perfect location. Not in city centre but not far enough out that you cannot easily walk to city centre or take a short taxi ride. The people working at this hotel were so wonderful and helpful. The hotel itself is an average hotel. It was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was the best one I have had at IHG hotels.

  Good HiEx experience, check in was easy and we were given information on the local area. The room itself isn’t huge but as we were out for most of the day, it didn’t matter. The showers were slightly annoying as they shower screen leaks water all over the floor, but nothing a towel doesn’t fix. Breakfast was a good continental breakfast with a couple of hot options, it does get busy but we were there early and it was perfectly manageable.

  We checked rather late due to flight was delayed but call the hotel to inform them, otherwise the room wld have been sold to other side, well you never know, rather safe than sorry right ?The night guy was friendly and the check in went smooth and we got room# 616The room is alright for like 2 nights coz more days its absolutely not good, then one wld need a bigger room for 3 ppl.I have if it was possible to have a late check out since we were going on a cruise, but the reception said “promtly” no !! Without checking the system or so, just “no” alright i guess it didnt hurt of asking right ? Breakfast area is quite noisy and the setup is quite bad if you ask me, but there isnt any better way i assume, coz there is just one line, and the coffee station is all the way in the back, One thing more host/hostess shld not be standing and greet guest while “yarning” as well, i think it is so impolite to do so.I dont wanna name any person, but the person has a pony tail. So havent said to much.Check out went smooth and taxis just outside the hotel is convient for sure.
