    The hostal is centrally located. My room was large, beds were reasonable. The reception only opens at certain hours which requires some planning upfront but is not a huge issue. Rooms were more or less clean. Toilet and bathroom dated. Air conditioning works, WiFi I did not try. No breakfast but not needed i.e. large number of places to have breakfast in the neighbourhood. Low cost but I feel it is still a bit expensive for what you get.

    I visited Barcelona with some friends at the middle of February. The room was quite small but comfortable, good AC/heating system. The staff was really friendly and willing to help. As we stayed only for 2 days, at our arrival they highlighted the best places that we should visit in such a short time and it was a good decision to listen to their advice. :)So I don't think we could get something better for the money we've paid. :)

    Unusually placed on the first floor of an apartment building. No worries for the less able as there is a lift. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Room was basic, but clean, with a very comfortable bed. In fact it’s better than the one I have at home. Tv was big ( if the program is of English or American origin, press tools or settings on remote the scroll down to language press ok then scroll down to English and press ok again. Return should return full picture.)Shower was lovely, easy to regulate the temperature. Very central for everything and cheap as chips. I’d definitely recommend and book again.

    We got a deal for a double room for $38 per night in early December. This hostel is conveniently located in the Eixample neighborhood, making it close to basically all the transit options (metro, suburban commuter train, buses, etc). We were able to walk to all of the sights we wanted to see. The hostel itself was clean and quiet, with all the things we needed. At this price you probably couldn't ask for more.

    I really thought this was a good deal at 36 euro a night for a clean comfy room downtown with a private bathroom and balcony. The bed was extremely comfortable and the linens were soft. The room was a nice size too. I tried to extend my stay but they were booked. I'd stay here again.
