    Filthy beyond limit

    The hotel is filthy beyond any limit. The building is falling apart. Mattresses and cushions are stained yellow. Doors are broken and there is no privacy. Alive and dead insects are everywhere. We are used to low category hotels, but staying here was too much of an hazard, so we had to find a different hotel. Useless to say that no refund was given. Avoid at any cost!!!

    Finding the receptionist asleep on the bed in the room you are about to check into was a first. Due to lots of football matches and other events the city was full so a hostel was the only option we could afford. Generally the staff were nice and did their best. The issue with this place is a total lack of investment from the management. No matter how hard the staff work to clean- the place will always look awful due to the need to strip out all the bathrooms ( shocking), decent redecoration and sorting out the electrics- it’s just depressing to stay in a room with a TV that not even wired in, a ceiling fan that doesn’t work and non functioning lamps. A lock box would have been great because although there were staff there all the time- I didn’t want to leave anything in my room as the downstairs door was always open. The location is brilliant- right next door to the fabulous Gaudi mansion- an early project for the Guell family. So close to the Gothic quarter too.

    Really don't know where to start. I had to book this hostel because we were running short on time and it was available, cheap and located in the heart of Barcelona, but if my trip wasn't so short i would've definitely left. The building smells like a public restroom and i had to run with my mask on so i would be exposed to that smell for a long time. The hostel is on the 3rd/4th (?) floor and the elevator was broken so you can imagine how awful that was. The room looked ok but the floor was disgusting and there was an ant infestation. The shared bathrooms were a bit unclean.It chocked me the way they store guests' towels in the reception room, without any protection.It had a microwave and a kettle but i wouldn't use them honestly.As i said my trip was short and i didn't spend much time in the room but i wouldn't be there again over any circumstance.

    Run away! Worst hostel I've never been. Dangerous and dirty. Horrible!!! If you still have the choice, don't stay there. The facility is insafe, holles in the walls, destroyed ceiling and building squated! Nothing safe it should be paid for!

    Omg beautiful room beautiful place clean and service is excellent comfortable bed beautiful location on la rambla attach bathroom heating everything is perfect no noise comfortable day and night thank you so much Mimi staf
