    Centrally located, with conveneint accesss to public transportation, but several tourist attraction are also within walking distance. Atmosphere: historical building, but well-kept up. breathes classical elegance and style. Rooms: spacious and clean, with separate bathroom and writing areas.     Hotel Astoria was a very pleasant expernce. Clean rooms, friendiy staff , and a great location to explore Barcelona.     Great location for all amenities and sightseeing.Super comfortable bed and pillows.Waterfall shower over the bath had good pressure and even temperature.Towels were generous size and high quality.Air conditioning was easy to use and extremely quiet. Staff friendly and helpful. Room service was very clean, discreet and quiet.Don’t forget to visit the roof terrace!Some noise from the street (you’re in a city after all!) but nothing that affected us or our sleep. You could request a room on upper floors.We would definitely stay again. Thank you to all the staff at The Astoria.     Clean tidy room. Nice atmosphere. Good base for walking around Barcelona and close to both the orange and green bus routes around the city tour. Safe in room was included in price.
