    The room was comfortable and the location was convenient, however our overall experience at Hotel Barcelona Condal Mar Affiliated by Meliá was very disappointing.On 28 April 2025, my friend and I ate in the hotel’s ground floor restaurant and ordered the “Authentic Smash Burger.” After waiting around 45 minutes — during which people who ordered after us received their food, ate, and left — and having to chase the order three times, we were eventually served what was essentially two patties with cheese and bacon and fries, without the bun or most of the ingredients listed on the menu. We were later told the kitchen had run out of buns, but no one informed us beforehand or offered an alternative. The attached photo shows what was served (taken after I had already taken a bite).I also reported that a personal item (a washing bag) had been taken from our room, which may have been a genuine mistake but was still concerning.Most disappointing is that I have contacted both the hotel and Melia customer service multiple times over the past month and have received no response or acknowledgment.I would appreciate it if the hotel’s General Manager or Melia Guest Experience team could review this matter and contact me so the issues raised can be properly addressed.Update: Following this review, Meliá Guest Experience contacted me, reviewed the complaint, and offered compensation, which I have accepted.     Horrible experience, unnecessary extra charges, poor service and shabby rooms

    I stayed at this property with my family. The moment we checked in with our large suitcases with a kid, instead of helping us , they told that we have to carry our suitcases ourselves as they don't provide help with luggage. After this shaky start, we were greeted with broken furniture at our room. This is the 1st hotel which I visited who shared 4 euros just to provide cutlery in the room. No one should ever waste their money in this useless property.     Worst hotel with rude staff, poor services and broken furnitures

    Horrible horrible experience at this hotel. Firstly, after we checked in with our 3 big suitcases and a kid, they told that they don't have porter to carry suitcases. 1st time have I experienced this kind of response. Then we somehow entered the room, and to our horror, the furniture were broken. We then ordered baby food from outside and asked them for cutlery , to which they charged 4 Euros just for the room service to provide cutlery. Next day we asked for the water bottle to which they reply that they just provide water bottle during checkin even if u r staying for 3 days. I strongly disrecommend this hotel. We have stayed in so many beautiful properties across the world, but this is the first hotel where we had this horror experience.     Good stay - Breakfast could be better

    Let’s start with the most important aspect of this review: I slept bed well at this hotel. The bedding was very good. Location wise, the hotel was very convenient for me. The neighbourhood isn’t they attractive. My room overlooked an abandoned warehouse complex with holes in the roof. In the distance I could see the Sagrada and the Montjuic. It’s quite a bit away from the major sights in the city, so if that’s your hoops you must take into account about 30 minutes driving with a taxi or ride share. Breakfast was a bit disappointing.     Exceeded our expectations and definitely recommend

    The hotel itself exceeded our expectations. We had a quadruple room on the 9th floor with a very large bathroom (bath with shower, shower cubicle, toilet) as well as a separate toilet. The minbar came in very handy to store our milk (didn’t actually purchase anything from it). The coffee/tea was always restocked although we bought extras from one of the many local supermarkets (literally 8 within 10 min walk in all directions). Very comfortable and clean for 3 adults and a teenager. The room was very clean and was serviced every day without any issues. The rooftop pool was used once and the views from the roof are awesome. The staff are really friendly and helpful and the drinks from the bar were very very cheap compared to UK prices. The metro was a 10 min walk away as well as the tram. This is a great “out of city centre” hotel with very easy connections and was perfect for our short stay.
