This hotel is situated in the commercial, business and historic centre of Barcelona and is the ideal location from which to explore the city. Nightclubs are located about 400 km away, while the railway station, Las Ramblas, Placa Catalunya and the Paseo de Gracia are 900 m from the hotel. The beach can be reached in 2 km, as can further shops, the Sagrada Familia church and Parc Guell.

Facility

The hotel has 10 suites and 36 double rooms, which are located on 5 storeys and are reachable by lift. The reception desk is open round the clock. A baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service are available. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday.     Hotel very friendly. Well situated to get to the centre and see all the sites. Breakfast was very good with wide range of food and drinks. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Would definitely re visit

    we stay here for one night only, but the hotel is beautiful with very friendly staff the breakfast was good the room has excellent size for my sister and I and perfect balcony to see the peoples of Barcelona

    Stayed in Casa Elliot from Saturday 16th to Wednesday 20th August. Great location near Placa de catalunya & the gothic quarter. Overall very pleased with our stay. We had tried to book a number of hotels and only Casa Elliot guaranteed us a twin room for our son & daughter (20 & 17). We were on a different floor to them but it was fine.The rooms are well appointed & complete with mini bar & air-conditioning which was great given fhe very warm weather. Bathrobes & slippers were nice.The shower & bathroom were excellent. Rooms have tea & coffee making facilities. USB (A) sockets means you dont have to bring a 3 to 2 pin plug but no harm to bring one of you have one.We chose not to eat breakfast at the hotel. The reason why we didn't have breakfast was purely a decision based on what we would eat & we didn't think we would eat adequately to justify the cost of breakfast per person. That is not a criticism of the hotel or their breakfast pricing or offering. The receptionists were extremely helpful & knowledgeable about everything we asked. We had left it too late to book Sagrada La Familia before travelling but the receptionist on Saturday managed to get us tickets for Sunday. We were extremely relieved and we would have been disappointed not to have seen the basilica. We were ready for food after our flight on Saturday. The receptionist gave us a superb recommendation of Fabrica Moritz beer factory, & restaurant which is literally 5mins walk from the hotel. Go there and try the chicken cooked over a can of beer!!! Prices are very reasonable for food & drinks. We had desert on our 2nd visit on Monday evening- the Swiss roll was superb.There is a litte cafe bar at the corner on the way to Moritz. Its very popular with loads of people inside & out on the street any time we passed.If you're not having breakfast at the hotel there are many cafes around. I would highly recommend Casa Elliot for a stay.

    The location is close to a metro station. It's approx. 7,8 mins walk to the Aero bus point ( Barcelona Terminal 1&2). Hotel AC was not working for all 4 days. The receptionist told me that the heating facilities are on, so AC can't work. It was so hot during the day, and I needed AC during the night, too. The receptionist told me to open the windows and sleep. I didn't expect this response from a 4* hotel. It was a non refundable booking, so I couldn't leave the hotel too. I slept every day by keeping windows open. I paid more than the neighbouring similar category hotels but was forced to sleep every day with the windows open. Very bad experience.

    Very welcoming. I believe Franceska was the staff member who greeted us the evening we popped into the hotel for 3 nights. Such a warm smile, and good English (quite helpful for non-Spanish speakers). She greeted us and provided suggestions for a place to eat as it was dinner time. The hotel provides a wonderful breakfast in the mornings with excellent coffee and an array of food. The location, I felt, was good. Metro wasn't too far away. Our room was comfortable. The shower was in my estimation excellent, with great water pressure. It was a good choice of an hotel, I felt.
