This wonderfully restored, luxury hotel is situated within a few minutes walk of the city's tourist centres and is just 3 km from the nearest beach. Various famous tourist sights including Ciutat Vella, Monjuïc and El Frente Marítimo, colourful shops, restaurants, bars and nightclubs are all located in the surrounding area. Excellent public transport links mean that guests can easily reach all the different areas of the city.

Facility

2 suites, 9 single rooms and 35 double rooms are located on 5 storeys and can be reached by lift. English- and French-speaking staff at the 24-hour reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a safe and a drinks machine. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. There are a number of shops as well.     We visited Barcelona the last few days and we had the opportunity to immerse ourselves into the Gaudi's universe. The Garbi Milleni hotel is extremely well placed in the Sants-Montjüic district at the edge of the Old Town within walking distance of Las Ramblas ,Plaça de Catalunya and at less than 20 minutes by subway from La Sagrada Familia,La Barceloneta,Gothic Quarter and Passeig de Graçia. Very well maintained rooms and the breakfast was very consistent with a wide variety of dishes to choose from. Overall a great experience. Will highly recommend Garbi Milleni hotel for any Barcelona visit due to its great proximity to main attractions and great accommodations.

    In our experience, this was a nice hotel choice for the 4 of us during our 4 nite stay in Barcelona. Very convenient location away from the busy areas but close to the metro and only a 10 - 15 min walk to La Rambla and the Gothic quarter. There were a number of very good reasonably priced restaurants nearby and the neighbourhood felt safe to wander during the evening hours. The hotel staff, particularly 'Xavier', were friendly & helpful, the rooms (501 & 509) were both clean and well maintained and the breakfast offered was excellent with lots of choices to get your day started. All in all, we would be happy to stay here again.

    Fine if not perfect

    While this is a slightly more rough and tumble urban neighbourhood, it's a good location (right near Barcelona Metro L3 paral lel station) and it's busy enough with a throng of locals and travellers that youll always feel fairly at ease. The room was very compact but fine for one person or even a couple who don't mind not having too much space. It had a good shower and comfy firm bed I was in room 211 so no balcony but it's a room facing into an internal kind of light well so it's super quiet because it's not facing the street. The only real negative was that being in a corner of the building the wifi was really patchy. Ther is no secruity entrance but the desk is 24 hours so when the doors are locked you can still be out late and buzz in. It was maybe a little on the pricey side for what it is but maybe not for Barcelona which is generally on the priceier side in central locations? The only other negative is that my room security swipe kept losing its charge. Overall it was fine though as a base to explore Barcelona and to immerse yourself into the life of the city.

    The manager is extremely rude and has no respect for the guests whatsoever…..He had no respect for women as well….. On being spoken to regarding this he argues and just mocks whatever you say…… This is not acceptable when you pay for something the least they can do is offer good hospitality

    Very friendly and helpful staff. Room was in perfect condition, very clean and roomy. The breakfast which was included with the room was nothing short of spectacular! If I ever go back to Barcelona, this is where I'll stay.
