The hotel has 8 junior suites, 2 suites and 65 double rooms, which are located on 6 storeys and are reachable by lift. The reception desk is open round the clock.     Misleading Pet Policy and Extremely Unprofessional Service

    Absolutely unacceptable and highly unprofessional experience.We booked this hotel specifically because it clearly stated on Booking.com that pets are allowed. Upon arrival, however, we were refused entry with our dog without any valid or consistent explanation, leaving us stranded without accommodation.To make matters even worse, the hotel changed its pet policy just one day after our reservation and then refused to honor the conditions that were clearly in place at the time of booking. This is misleading and completely unacceptable.What was particularly shocking was that the receptionist subjectively assessed the weight of our dog on the spot and used this as a reason to deny us entry. This kind of arbitrary and unprofessional behavior is simply outrageous.This is the first time in my life I have experienced such treatment. It demonstrates a complete lack of professionalism, reliability, and respect for guests.I strongly advise anyone — especially those traveling with pets — to avoid this hotel. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend it under any circumstances.

    we had a very spacious room with private terrace overlooking the harbour. staff is very friendly and helpful. nice pool with cabanas.

    Beautiful hotel to escape the city humdrum. Exceptional views across the city. Staff wonderful, very helpful in all hotel depts. We couldn't get WiFi at all and were moved to 5th floor. Very good idea as air conditioning on 3rd floor bedroom very noisy. Need more storage space. Dresses cannot be hung without creasing at bottom. Please use walls to put up some hooks. Pool delightful but building a sauna at the moment, so not peaceful, beautiful, never the less. Food here is some of the best I have ever tasted, and I am a worldwide traveller, compliments to your chefs. The spa here is wonderful. I wished I had booked longer for my massage and facial. Very skilled spa therapists and big shout out to lovely guy at spa reception from the Pacific islands. Total professional. This is a complete escape from the city, a retreat almost. Taxi back and forward can add substantially to the holiday. It depends what your priorities are.     Absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Miramar, it’s so peaceful and beautiful with the city views. The pool, food, cocktails, service and our room were fabulous - I was a little concerned after some of the reviews but we had a fantastic experience. I would love to go back tomorrow!     We came back to this hotel after being here before, the hotel is beautiful. The front desk staff were nice and always greeted us. Our room was clean and tidy and everyday the cleaners did our room - one day they left chocolates on our pillow which was very sweet. We did have some faulty plugs but when we went to reception the fixed them for us very quickly. We didn’t pay to eat here but the food did look good - One day I ordered a caeser salad from the bar menu but it wasn’t typical Caesar salad because it had no chicken? But I mentioned this to the bar lady and she got chicken added. Maybe this was a translation mistake? The spa is AMAZING. clean and very aesthetic. Why I won’t give 5 stars is- On the weekends they have weddings - so the only weekend we were here we had to leave the pool at a certain time which was a bit annoying as it felt like the guests staying here weren’t important enough. And the following night was an event that went on late but was good music and we were allowed to be by the pool, it wasn’t exclusive to us anymore as the music event guests used all the beds up :( not a bad complaint but we came to relax completely and that took the edge of it slightly. If you’re on the third floor there is a fire exit door that people use to access the pool, if you’re at the bottom end of that corridor the door is a very loud slam & did wake us up a few times. (Just be conscious of that if you’re wanting to sleep early) The tables around the pool by the beds and chairs were filthy! I wiped the ones down that we had next to us because on one night my white dress got covered in dirt and other people drink stains isn’t nice. Overall we had a really nice time here and the hotel is very beautiful. We would come again and we have recommended this place to many friends.
