This centrally located hotel is situated about 500 m from the inviting beach, on the outskirts of the Barrio Gótico. Ciuadela Park lies a few metres away and Las Ramblas are 5 minutes walk from the hotel. Links to the public transport network are to be found directly in front of the hotel.

Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the reception desk in the lobby are happy to answer any questions.     This was one of the most disturbing hotel experiences I have ever had.I had booked a full five-night stay, expecting a professional and respectful environment. Instead, I was pressured, confronted, and treated in a way that felt completely unacceptable.The night staff clearly told me I could keep the room for an additional 30 minutes. Later, the manager flatly denied this and made no effort to clarify the situation internally. What followed was not a calm discussion, but an escalation.The manager behaved in an aggressive and highly unprofessional manner, both on the phone and in the reception area, in front of other guests. He appeared emotionally unstable, showed no control over his reactions, and shifted the situation into something deeply uncomfortable.Most concerning of all, he demanded that I apologize to him — despite the fact that he was the one acting aggressively and disrespectfully. Instead of taking responsibility, he positioned himself as the victim.I was left feeling pressured and intimidated, and the situation triggered strong physical reactions. I ended up in tears in the reception. No guest should ever be made to feel this way — especially not during a paid, multi-day stay.This goes far beyond a simple misunderstanding about check-out time. It reflects a serious failure in professionalism, accountability, and basic respect for guests.I cannot recommend this hotel under any circumstances .

    Staff that go the extra mile

    This was a lovely, quiet hotel, which although fairly big maintains a sense of small-family hotel. All staff, including in the cafe, were friendly and always went the extra mile, making us feel very well looked-after. It was too cold to sit outside, but the pool area and bar are very pleasant, and our room was clean and welcoming. All in all we had a very pleasant stay.

    Great hotel. Friendly staff. Rooms were clean and modern. There is a great little cafe on the ground floor to sit and enjoy a coffee and people watch through the large glazed windows to the street outside. A lovely mid sized terrace on the second floor just above the street. Pool looked good but didn’t venture in. It is open part of the year with the warmer weather. Location really is brilliant right across the street from the port

    Amazing stay at Hotel Oasis — a perfect place for a first city break in Barcelona.The location was ideal for exploring. It was very close to the city bus tour stop, which was really helpful for getting around, and within walking distance of La Rambla, the beach, and plenty of restaurants and bars.The hotel itself was really nice. Our room was very spacious with a large bathroom, and although we didn’t have a pool view, we had a small terrace which was a nice to get some fresh air in. All very clean. The pool area was gorgeous and perfect for a city break, with a great seating area, good food, and cocktails as well.Overall, an amazing stay and a great base for exploring Barcelona — we’d definitely recommend.
