    THIS HOTEL IS NOT SAFE — THEY STEAL HERE FROM YOUR ROOM!Things get stolen in this hotel, and staff go through your personal belongings looking for valuables. Money was taken from my wallet inside a CLOSED backpack in my room.This means someone literally went through my belongings, opened closed compartments, and rummaged through my personal items. This is simply shocking.When I reported it, the hotel did NOTHING. No real investigation, no responsibility, no refund. Their only response was basically: “you should have used the safe.”Seriously? The safe is tiny. What about expensive clothes? What about a laptop? I had a $5,000 laptop in my room — should I carry everything with me all the time?Instead of dealing with the fact that their staff access guests’ belongings, they just avoid responsibility and act like this is normal.I do NOT recommend staying here unless you are ready for your belongings to be searched and possibly stolen.Completely unacceptable and unsafe.     Great Experience- highest praise for Hotel Paxton!!

    The hotel was great . Lovely comfortable room , clean and staff very friendly. My only complaint is they have a lovely roof top pool that doesn’t open until 10am ! Come on hotel Paxton. What about all your guests who would like a swim before breakfast .     CAUTION! THIEF ALERT!

    The room was spacious, the bed nice, toiletries good. However there was an open toilet with a glass door that didn't really close, which made things awkward if there are two or more people in the room. Also the walls are paper thin. You could hear everything, even people talking in the next room. CAUTION! THIEF ALERT! The worst thing was that it appeared that there is a thief stakeout at the hotel area. Either there was someone tipping information for unsuspected tourists inside the lobby, or there is someone outside the hotel, watching for potential victims. Either way, have that in mind, since they did a calculated and planned attack at me after I left the hotel. It was too precise to be a random theft. I am not saying that its the hotel's fault, or that this doesn't happen in other areas or hotels also, but this was my experience and I am sharing it here to protect others. Be very careful and watch your back.     Friendly staff, beautiful room, great breakfast but noisy and technical toilet problem

    The noise is a disadvantage and also my toilet wasn’t working well enough. The toilet kept on flushing. When I pushed the button, I got injured. The person at the night reception was very helpful. I took care of myself with the kit he offered me. As he was alone he told me to check upon the toilet again pushing the buttons. I pushed 4 times on the buttons and the flushing noise stopped. It is unfortunate I hurt myself that hard. For the rest: the accommodation is good, the staff is friendly, the breakfast is perfect!
