  The gardens and the views are really nice, but the hotel itself and the amenities are in a really bad condition. There was even animal poop in the restaurant area, which is honestly unacceptable.The place smells like humidity, there is mold on the walls, and you can see the maintenance is very poor for the price they charge.Breakfast was very basic, no much flavor and not many options.   Room was very dark, in need of renovating. Mismatched furniture, no fridge. Shower good. Pool small but adequate Staff very nice. Restaurant: simply awful. Breakfast is very average. Dinner: don't go there! We thought we'd give the empty restaurant a chance ,the benefit of the doubt but regretted it. Fish was raw , sides missing from the plate, my poke bowl was so bad that I sent it back. I've never sent food back before! They bought an alternative, also dreadful. I can unfortunately not recommend this hotel.   Beautiful gardens and pool views of Arenal Volcano - bliss

  We had been booked here by our travel agent and after checking the TA rating I was a little concerned. I need not have been. It was perfect. The bungalows was spacious and well equipped including a large fridge, microwave and kettle. Beds were comfortable and bathroom large and clean. There was a small terrace with chairs which looked out on to the hotels biggest plus - the amazing garden and pool with volcano views. The staff were all lovely and breakfast was the usual Costa Rican fare but there were a lot of options and we left very full every morning for the day ahead. It is just outside of La Fortuna itself so is quieter but there is a mini-supermarket next door and also a sushi restaurant although we did not try this.   Close to Arenal Volcano National Park, beautiful view of Arenal Volcano.

  Very spacious comfortable room set amongst a beautiful garden with a view of Arenal Volcano. Friendly service at breakfast. Not located in La Fortuna but a good place to stay if you want to be close to Arenal National Park. There is a mini-market and one or 2 restaurants withing walking distance.   Amazing view of Arenal Volcano from the room we stayed in, lovely grounds. Restaurants and quad bike hire within walking distance but a car is rrquired for anything else as it is a few minutes drive from La Fortuna. Staff were very helpful in resolving an issue we had.
