Location

This elegant city hotel is ideally located at the heart of Barcelona, near to the Plaza Catalunya and the famous pedestrianised area of Las Ramblas. In addition, the Picasso Museum, the Catedral de la Seu and the Juan Miro Foundation are all within walking distance of the hotel. Plenty of shops as well as restaurants and bars are all a stone's throw from the hotel and nightclubs as well as public transport are only a little further away. The nearest beach is 2 km away and the airport is 15 km from the hotel.

Facility

The hotel was modernised in 2023. 91 non-smoking rooms, including a suite and 85 double rooms, are located on 5 storeys and can be reached by lift. The multilingual staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Services such as a baggage storage service and a safe ensure a comfortable stay. Wireless internet access (no extra charge) is provided in public areas. The hotel offers a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the car park for a fee. Further services include a babysitting service (on request and for a fee), a transfer service, room service and an alarm call service. A business centre with projector, a flip chart and pens and photocopier is available.

Rooms

Air conditioning and individually adjustable heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. A balcony is among the standard features of some rooms. The rooms have a double bed and a sofa bed. Separate bedrooms are available. Extra beds and children's beds are available upon request and for a fee. A safe and a minibar are also available. Guests will also find a mini fridge included among the standard features. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A direct dial telephone, a TV, a plug adapter and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. Guests can take advantage of the nightly turndown service. Slippers are included. A hairdryer and bathrobes are on hand in the bathrooms for everyday use. As a special feature, bathrooms are also stocked with cosmetic products and a selection of towels. Bathrooms with wheelchair access can also be booked.

Sport

Guests can enjoy a selection of sport and entertainment options. Fine weather can be enjoyed on the terrace. Leisure activities and facilities at the hotel include a gym or, for a fee, massage treatments. Evening entertainment includes live music.

Meals

Dining facilities include a breakfast room, a café and a lobby bar. A number of specialities await guests in the air-conditioned, non-smoking restaurant. A delicious and varied buffet awaits guests at breakfast. For breakfast and lunch, guests can order à la carte. A set menu can be ordered at lunch. Gluten-free meals, vegetarian dishes and vegan food can be prepared on request. The hotel offers a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

    Such a wonderful experience! The location was great, within walking distance of so many of the old places I wanted to see. The hotel itself was beautiful. Most importantly to me were the people at the hotel. Everyone was so friendly and helpful and responsive. The Montserrat tour I had booked cancelled last minute; the front desk found me an alternative and excellent Montserrat tour immediately. I asked for a different room and was accommodated very easily and with a smile. The waitstaff were friendly and fun. I loved the terrace and the music nights up there. The food at each of the three options available was fantastic. I was traveling alone, but at the Pulitzer, I had lovely company whenever I wanted.     Decent hotel. Was overpriced for MWC. Rooms were too small, twin beds not a single bed.     Lovely hotel. Fantastic location in a quiet side street close to Plaça Catalunya. An easy walk to restaurants and shops everything close by. Nice breakfast. Like many 4 & 5* hotels now, no freshly made coffee but a good machine at breakfast - I'd recommend the cafe con leche. Pic of machine shown! Lots of cereal, yogurt, juices, pastries, ham, fruit, sandwiches, empanadas or quiche, olives, tomatoes, smoked salmon... plus cooked breakfasts - various eggs, pancakes, avocado toast etc. very nice rooftop bar with DJs at weekends and barbecue offering burgers etc. we had a room for : with my son on a sofa bed. He is a small 13 yo and was fine on it. Nice little balcony. Room didn't feel too cramped to us. Bathroom was modern and nice. A few people like me were working in the lobby bar in the morning and staff were fine about me having. A couple of coffees early before breakfast later. All in all a lovely stay.     This Hotel is perfectly situated and within walking distance to some great shops, restaurants and Barcelona's amazing sights! (The bus tours are a great way to get around this vibrant and wonderful City)We've had the best stay at this amazing Hotel..Our rooms were spotlessly clean and the Hotel is stylish and extremely elegant with the most incredible artwork everywhere.
