  The Hotel Regina is located within walking distance to just about everything you would want to see and do in Barcelona and the tube/metro stop is close by. When we arrived our room was not ready so they held our luggage and we went for a walk to grab lunch. I highly recommend Can Pizza which is just around the corner. When we got back our room was ready but there was no one available to assist with the bags so we brought everything up ourselves. Regina is an old hotel which has been modernized. The rooms and common areas are beautiful and updated but the hallways and doors to the rooms were kept to the original aesthetic which adds to the charm. We had free breakfast which was better than expected. A large buffet and made to order eggs, fresh juice, fruit infused water and self serve coffee/espresso machine.Housekeeping was not stellar. Our room wasn’t made up until after 2pm and not clean wash cloths were left. I think they were just short staffed.I would go back again because the location is great and the beds were comfortable but the attention to guests could be better.   Hotel Regina is perfectly located for exploring Barcelona - everything is within walking distance, which makes it an ideal base for discovering the city.What I loved most is the balance this place strikes. It has a boutique, intimate atmosphere where you can truly feel the spirit of Barcelona, yet at the same time the hotel is beautifully renovated, modern, and very comfortable. That contrast gives it a unique character.We stayed in a Dual Balcony room - while the balcony doesn’t open directly onto the main square, the view is still charming, overlooking classic Spanish townhouses. It adds a quiet, more local perspective to the stay.The rooms are thoughtfully designed, with exceptionally large and comfortable beds - the kind you genuinely look forward to after a full day in the city.The hotel restaurant serves very good tapas - perfect for a relaxed evening without having to go far, though if you’re looking to explore Barcelona’s culinary scene, you’ll find countless great spots just steps away from the hotel. Another great bonus is the connection to the nearby Hotel Pulitzer, where guests can access additional facilities like the gym.All in all, a stylish, well-located hotel that offers both comfort and a sense of place - exactly what you want for a long city break in Barcelona.   Excellent location, spacious rooms, professional staff.

  Excellent location, the breakfast staff at Gina’s were caring and attentive. Room was spacious and clean. May at the breakfast (Gina’s), was so lovely and went out of her way to connect with our son. Breakfast buffet was limited but sufficient. The area was well spaced out and very clean. All the staff were great there. The room was beautiful, high ceilings, very spacious, modern decor. All very comfortable and relaxing. Basic amenities, safe, robe, slippers provided. There was a water dispenser in the corridor. Rooms were quiet, we didn’t have any noise problems. The hairdryer was powerful, unlike most hotel hairdryers!The only suggestion would be for more hooks for the towels (not above the toilet) and more shelves or counter space for toiletries. The location was perfect. 5 min walk from La Rambla and Plaça de Catalunya. Taxi stand directly across the road from the hotel. The hotel restaurant next door offers delicious local food.   Outstanding Service and Location!

  What made my stay at Hotel Regina in Barcelona exceptional was the outstanding service I received from them, especially from Alba, the Concierge. She was able to answer any/all of my questions, and went out of her way to look up mileage for places I wanted to visit, as well as ticket prices, restaurant menus, and more. She was delightful, and even had the staff send a gift to me when there was a slight mixup in rooms upon my arrival. In addition to the excellent service, I must say that the hotel's downtown location was perfect for local restaurants. The hotel's breakfast each morning also was delicious.
