This luxury hotel lies within walking distance of Las Ramblas. Numerous shopping facilities, inviting restaurants and cosy pubs are located in the hotel's immediate vicinity. Convenient public transport links, with easy access into the center of the city, are only a few paces from the hotel.

Facility

Guests have a choice of 15 suites, 12 single rooms and 102 double rooms located in a 7-storey main building and an auxiliary building. Multilingual staff at the 24-hour reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe and currency exchange service. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel offers various facilities for guests with disabilities. A lift and wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. There are a number of shops as well. Additional facilities include a TV room. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park. Other services include a 24-hour security service, a car hire service, medical assistance, a transfer service, room service, a laundry service, a coin-operated laundry and a hotel shuttle bus. Rooms

Air conditioning and central heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. A balcony is among the standard amenities of some rooms. All rooms are carpeted and include a double bed, a queen-size bed or a sofa bed. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. Additional features include a mini fridge and a tea/coffee station.     Fantastic for Orwell enthusiasts

    TRULY HISTORIC HOTEL!! Right opposite is the building where George Orwell spent three nights on the rooftop during the Spanish civil war. The hotel was the POUM HQ - which for anyone who’s read Homage to Catalonia is amazing! Right next to the hotel is the Moka Cafe with a special memorial to Orwell in its basement. Apart from history, we had a lovely room overlooking a garden, and the breakfast was fantastic with loads of fresh fruit. Management very helpful with an issue we had.     Spent $$$ on their suite wish and was not worth it at any price furnishing looks nice in pics but worn in reality Left for another hotel @10PM Next floor up was rooftop bar very many different noises,very loud.     Nice hotel on Las Ramblas

    We stayed one week at the hotel in April. We booked the superior room, which happens to be two different types of room and we got the wrong type first. The receptionist helped us to get the correct one from day 2, and we were happy with this room.As it is right next to Las Ramblas we expected noise, but the construction work was more than expected, but that’s not the hotel’s fault.The sky bar was very nice and a relaxing place to have a drink and watch the sunset.In-room massage was very good and professional.All in all worth 5 star.     All the hotel staff were extremely good at their jobs and very friendly and very helpful My self and my wife were in a Deluxe double which was very clean and big with a extremely good showerThe breakfast choice is a huge buffet of so many different choices from cold to hot you can get your breakfast delivered to your room if you wish.There is a roof top bar which has beautiful views over the city in the evenings.
