  this was not what we were expecting...

  This is supposed to be a modest, airport-lay-over hotel.But it is not.It is much, much MORE than that. The room is not too spacious, of course, but it is quite sufficient. It is very clean, and maintained so. And it has everything you really need, if you are not going to spend all your time in your hotel room (but you could stay a lot of time at this hotel, thanks to its wonderful lobby, and even a sidewalk restaurant !The decoration is very beautiful, everywhere. In the room, the hallways, the lobby. Modern, creative and artistic in every detail, but with a subtle traditional touch - the cultural particularities of the North and the South, beautifully combined - . The Spanish class.Total cleanliness everywhere, also. And very nice staff members, at all times (I got the feeling that there was a family connection between them… in which case, it explains a lot about the high quality of this establishment, as it is typical for all family owned and operated businesses. )The building is in retreat of the street, with a limited, restricted traffic in front of it. So, it is quiet. There is a McDonald, a superstore, and a 24/7 grocery store, at walking distance.The breakfast is a unique experience. In terms of food and breakfast beverages (the coffee is fantastic, the freshly squeezed orange juice has the taste of the Spanish sun in it, the cheese and charcuterie are top quality, everything is fresh), you have everything, on the nice and clean counters. There is even a Panini maker !! And a nostalgic, coco powder box, which will bring you to your childhood, and is one of those special touches that you will find at this hotel. But it does not end there… Not only the decoration of the walls and the floor is literally artistic, but also the tables and the chairs - our couches - , the plates and the cups, everything !This breakfast also has a special team. The 90's. In reference to the music of that era, which accompanies your initial morning hours, while you are savoring a generous, tasty, delicious breakfast. Don’t neglect this experience, take the time to enmjoy it, before your such to the airport. Btw, this fantastic breakfast is offered very, very early - the staff who works on it probably does not sleep at all, the night before… and yet, they will greet you with a warm smile, at any hour during the long breakfast hours - .This experience changed my wntire opinion about Ibis. Even though this place is probably exceptional, in that regard.A big bravo. And thank you.

  Surprisingly comfortable

  Due to a change in travel arrangements, the cruise company booked us at this hotel. I wasn’t expecting much, given it was chosen by the cruise line and often they book cheap hotels. In addition, it was rated a 2 star…not my normal hotel selection!I was surprised by this hotel. At first glance, it didn’t look and feel like much - just a basic aéroport hotel. Room was clean, basic, with a futuristic washroom.However, the room was comfortable, and we had a great sleep. Also, decided to have supper at the hotel, and the meal was surprisingly good. And affordable. And the bar, although with a limited selection, had very good prices. And the included breakfast was acceptable. Not a huge selection, but still a good buffetA pleasant surprised!

  excelente service !excelent employees very helpful and always willing to give you the best service ,thank you very much to Anthony, Josef and the wonderful manager Susana Benito , besides the amazing people working there, the hotel is very convenient and comfortable specially went you need to be close to the airport

  Value for money if you are looking for a stay outside of city

  Its takes about an hout from barcelona centre usong public transport. The room was comfortable but the bathroom was not clean enough as we found some hair strands. Nothing more to add as we spent most of our time roaming in the city and we did not even opt for breakfast.

  The hotel appears modern and clean. The reseption area is also the bar. At breakfast they have an OK selection of food, for 10€ per person. The hotel room was nice and the bathroom was clean and good looking.Its quite a long way away from Barcelona city, so we took the bus for 2,55€ each way. Note! The buses that passes the hotel, is not included in the 48h ticket that can be bought in Barcelona.
