  Amazing in every way

  We have just got back from staying here as a family of 4 adults. The staff are so helpful and let us into the apartment at 11am as it was ready which was great as it was pouring with rain. The apartment was spotless and had all the facilities for self catering although we ate out all the time. The location is perfect for getting around and have great bars close by if that’s what you like. We did hear a bit of noise a couple of nights, but nothing to complain about. I would definitely stay again.

  Arrogant owner, property in bad shape

  Property is in BAD shape, The floor has nails sticking that will hurt your feet, paints peeling, appliances old and nasty, owner is arrogant, would not fix the problem. We wll NOT recommend this place.

  We stayed 3 nights in apartment 1.The apartments are great, plenty of room and nice balcony overlooking the street.Very good location with most sites in walking distance. Aldi supermarket just a short walk away. Plenty of other markets close by.Apartment is beautifully decorated and very secure. 2 locked doors to go through.Our only disappointment was the noise from other apartments in the building especially the one above us. Very noisy and disturbed sleep.hence 4 stars and not 5.Staff are great, they are in an office on ground floor and most helpful.We would stay again , Barcelona is a magic city.

  2 Bedroom Apartment: Great Option for 2-3 adults. Location is unbeatable.

  We stayed in the ESPARTERIA 2 BEDROOMS apartment. For 3 women, it was a great size. The larger bedroom (with the brick wall) is very spacious with 2 large closets. It was plenty of room for 2 people. The smaller bedroom was good for 1 person, but it would have been VERY tight if 2 people tried to sleep in there. The bathroom was larger than I was anticipating for a Spanish bathroom. There was plenty of counter space and the shower was very large. Great water pressure and temperature control. The living room and kitchen were very open. We didn't spend much time in these rooms, but we were very comfortable when we did. The A/C had a learning curve, but once we figured it out, it worked great. There were a TON of stairs to get up to this apartment, but there was a small elevator that made it doable with luggage. The rooftop is small and doesn't have much of a "view", but it was a nice atmosphere. There is a little picnic table with chairs and then a lounge chair off to the side. It was a great space to hang out and drink some cava and eat some chorizo. The location is unbeatable. We were able to walk everywhere. The Franca train station is only a 5 minute walk. Having the Basilica Santa Maria Del Mar so close made it easy to find our way home. I loved this apartment, and I would gladly stay here again---for 3 adults max.

  Great Location Subpar Accommodation

  I’ll start by saying they did a PHENOMENAL job enhancing the photos. So much in fact that we were completely taken by surprise when we walked in…(in a bad way) We booked the “penthouse apartment” and aside from being on the top floor there was nothing luxury about it. Very small, tiny bathroom, small living area, and small bedroom. The photo attached shows what was advertised vs reality. It’s not a drastic difference but we certainly felt deceived upon arrival.The location is great, there’s no denying that. You’re right in the center of El Born. Close walking to tons of bars, restaurants, and landmarks. The check in process was fairly simply, the doorknob/lock took a little while to get used to but we got the hang of it. Overall, we were definitely disappointed upon arrival. But we made it work. The other apartments look beautiful and maybe they’re much nicer accommodations. But we messed up making the assumption that the more expensive “penthouse” was the nicest option. Don’t do what we did!
