Location

This elegant hotel is located in the centre of Barcelona on the famous Plaza España, near the well-known Gran Via. From here, it is only about 200 m to the Montjuic fountain with its sound and light shows. The National Palace, the National Art Museum of Catalonia, the Fundació Caixa Forum Museum, the Spanish Village, the Greek Theatre, the Miro museum and the Anell Olimpic are also all in the near surroundings and easy to reach. Both the tourist bus and the aerobus from the airport stop at Plaza España. The famous Las Ramblas, the Columbus monument, and the beach of Barceloneta (about 4 km) are within easy reach. Sants central railway station is approximately 1.5 km from the hotel and it is about 8 km to El Prat International Airport.

Facility

18 suites, 258 single rooms and 258 double rooms are located on 7 storeys and can be reached by lift. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the reception are happy to assist guests at the reception desk round the clock. Check-in and check-out are available 24 hours a day. Amenities include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and cash machine. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. Rooms

Air conditioning and individually adjustable heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. A balcony is among the standard amenities of some rooms. All rooms are carpeted and include a double bed and a sofa bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. Additional features include a mini fridge and a tea/coffee station. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio, a stereo system, a plug adapter, an alarm clock and WiFi are provided as well. Slippers are included. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower, a bathtub and a bidet. A hairdryer, a vanity mirror, bathrobes and a telephone are available for daily use. As an extra convenience, bathrooms provide cosmetic products. Guests can also book wheelchair-friendly rooms with wheelchair-accessible bathrooms. The hotel has non-smoking rooms and smoking rooms.

The pleasantly heated water of the indoor and outdoor pools guarantees comfortable swimming.     Located conveniently near Montjuïc, this hotel provides easy access to the main landmarks while still providing retreat from the city’s busier tourist areas. Rooms are thoughtfully designed, and well-equipped with necessary amenities. The beds are comfy. Service is good. Staff are professional and attentive. The breakfast buffet is extensive. The hotel’s facilities, including the spa and fitness center, are well-maintained.

    Great views from the rooftop restaurant and our room, looking towards the castle. Very comfortable bed, amazingly quiet room, clean and tidy room and hotel. The breakfast is out of this world, with many fresh pastries to choose from, as well as breads, cheeses, meats, Asian food, eggs, etc. Consistently friendly staff. We plan to stay here next time we are in Barcelona.

    The hotel location and staff are great.Every staffs are great. They are going to support any kinds of issues even if it’s a earlier check in.     This is a very nice hotel in a good location. It has a rooftop bar with wonderful views of the city and also enjoy the sunset. The staff in the front desk was very nice, helpful, and accommodating. Ramon - the concierge in the front lobby was friendly, and always ready to assist. Our room was clean and spacious. The dining area/restaurant had good food with limited selections but their room service menu which is separate has more selections and varieties to choose from. The room service menu is not served at the main dining room. The breakfast buffet has many choices and service was good. We enjoyed our stay and hope to come back again.     The hotel is elegant, clean, and perfectly located. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable, and the facilities are excellent.
