  The place is so tired and the room was subpar. Fittings were old and tardy, as the photos clearly indicate. Unfortunately we were on the front which was noisy and made no better by the gaps in the window frames. I work for a bank and could have fitted them better myself. I could see daylight coming through the expanding foam. The positives - the water was hot with good pressure and the towels and bedding were clean. Would we stay there again… certainly not. Rated as 8.4 4star+ on booking.com who I went through which is ludicrous this was a 5/10 at best

  Wonderful stay in a beautiful part of the City

  Very clean conditions and helpful staff. The reception area is very welcoming and a relaxing spot to sit when waiting to check in or if resting after a long day. We were given great amenities and the apartment space was a great size with a large kitchen diner area and TV with a small balcony space.

  Poor service, poor internet

  I was very disappointed in my family's recent stay. Most maddeningly, the internet does not work at all in many bedrooms, and none of the staff seemed interested in fixing the situation – unacceptable for a hotel at this price point. Many other small things went wrong, and the hotel seemed uninterested in keeping us happy. Our refrigerator broke down twice, and even though repairmen were called both times, having to throw out food and wait days without refrigeration was a major inconvenience in a place where kitchen access is a major draw. Nobody offered, for instance, to store our items for us.One of our suites had no detergent and sponges. We were told that they'd never run out before and had no idea what to do: "It's unprecedented!" A more professional hotel would have sent someone down to the store to buy the missing items, which we did ourselves.Likewise, when we ran out of paper towels and asked for more, we were told that only one roll is provided per stay. Considering how much food we had to throw out because the refrigerator didn't work, and how many thousands of dollars we spent booking 2 suites for 10 days, it was petty.We arrived to a bathtub suite when we'd booked a shower suite for accessibility reasons, and they were able to switch us – but it was an annoying and stressful arrival. For this price, you have better options in Barcelona.

  Fantastic location if you’re looking for somewhere blissfully quiet at night time and away from the crowds, but with public transport a five minute walk away to the metro which will get you into the city centre in 10 minutes. Big comfortable beds, lovely clean linen, beds made up every day, a great hot shower, a basic kitchenette for fixing breakfast or even dinner if you’re so minded. Has a juicer which was handy given there’s a grocery store nearby selling fresh oranges. The store also has a wide range of food stuffs and even a modest wine selection. The restaurant downstairs is convenient and has very good, reasonably priced Italian food. The other big plus is the service with reception staff sup efficient and friendly. Check in is easy and the staff are very helpful with tips and info.On the downside, the furnishings are looking very tired and the bathrooms really need to be redone bc they are starting to look grubby even though they might be quite clean. The manager told us they are in the process of doing this. Once done this will be much more of a 4 star boutique hotel, but until then you’ll need to overlook the shabbiness and just enjoy the benefits of being in a quiet but convenient location,

  4 people in one of the apartment for 3 nights.After 2 showers water was cold because we discovered, later, that the hot water had limited volume in a heating tank. For 1 day the room was not maden.Position is fine
