  This hotel is situated opposite of the hospital in Vic. Don't make a mistake. You might think that you are IN the hospital if you are in the hotel, but you are wrong. The rooms, the smell, the decoration, it all reminds you of the hospital.Don't take the elevator! if you step in, it moves about 30 cm down and you may fall down in it. Take the stairs, but be aware that some steps are broken. The rooms are poor. very poor. My toilet was in my room and so was my bathroom. When I was taking a shower, or went to the toilet, all patients of th ehospital could see me sitting.There are no amenities. If you take a shower, the room is flooded. No minibar, no water. nothing. really nothing.Walls are made of cardboard so you hear everything in all rooms around. you want to sleep? forget it!!!Breakfast is poor. When I checked out, the lady didn't even thanked me. She is, just like everybody, waiting until this hotel will close so the rooms can be a part of the hospital. Stay away! Nuestro hotel es un hotel de negocios y está situado en una zona muy tranquila.. Las habitaciones no hacen olor de hospital, es el primer comentario de este tipo en 20 años.. La habitaciones tienen amenties y además son de la marca "Ritual".. Las habitaciones no tienen mini-bar, pero hay recepción 24 horas y si necesitaba alguna cosa, sólo tenía que bajar a recepción y pedirlo..El hotel está en reformas. Es un hotel familiar e independiente. El 85% de las habitaciones están totalmente reformadas y el ascensor en un período de 6 meses, será renovado..El desayuno tipo bufé es totalmente completo y mucho mejor que hoteles de 4 estrellas. Le recordamos que nuestro hotel es de 3 estrellas. Sobre su comentario que el personal espera que cierre el hotel está fuera de lugar. Nuestro personal está trabajando cada día para dar un buen servicio a nuestros clientes.Nuestro hotel, es un hotel de negocios de 3 estrellas ofreciendo los servicios de esta categoría.   We stayed for one night, allowing us some extra time to explore Vic. Not knowing much about the area, I was a bit disappointed about the location, given it was a bit outside of the city center. The only thing I could mention to be improved is the temperature of the room. I found it to be very hot and dry at night - it was a pretty cold December night! Other than that, we found it to be clean and comfortable. Breakfast was a good deal (no other places to eat breakfast within close proximity to the hotel). The staff was welcoming and warm.   Great Value 10 Minute Walk to the Center

  We were traveling between Andorra and Roses, on the coast and looking for a nice stopping point along the way. Vic (pronounced "Beek" according to the hotel desk), was perfect. The hotel is directly across from the hospital and easy to find. It is a short walk to the town square and the day we were there the square was packed with families, everyone enjoying themselves. There is plenty to see and do and a number of excellent restaurants within easy walking distance. The hotel itself is not remarkable architecturally but the rooms are fine, clean, and a great value. Others may have mentioned the "farm" aromas that go with the territory. You get used to it quickly and it adds to the charm of the place. The hotel staff could not have been nicer or more helpful.   Good hotel with poor Wi-Fi

  Good quality for price. Nothing particularly interesting to see around. The room is simple but clean and practical. In my room I had big problems to connect with the wi-fi. The line comes and goes every 30 seconds and cannot be used. I don't know if it was due to the room position or it was just a bad day but I suggest to the hôtel administration to improve it.   If you are traveling by car, the Hotel J Balmes is easy to find, clearly signposted and adjacent to the hospital.The location is excellent - 10 minute walk to the historical centre of Vic.The rooms are fine and the service friendly and helpful.A double room with breakfast (and including one dog) cost 80 euros.
