This leading hotel enjoys a superb location directly in the Barrio Gotico opposite the cathedral. The city centre and Barcelona's eminent tourist attractions are all in the immediate vicinity. Fantastic shops, stylish restaurants, bars and pubs litter the surrounding area. The hotel is well served by public transport: Cataluña and Jaume I underground stations are just a stone's throw away.

Facility

5 suites, 30 single rooms and 110 double rooms are located on 6 storeys and can be reached by lift. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the 24-hour reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe and currency exchange service. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. There are a number of shops as well. Additional facilities include a TV room. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park (for a fee).     Stayed here for 4 nights prior to a cruise. Hotel was great, location was great, staff were all great (front desk/ doormen/rooftop), view was great. We did pay extra for a premium with a view and room was very nice with plenty of room. Airline damaged one of our bags and I asked front desk for a store to find some stuff to fix it, they sent up their maintenance guy to help us, customer service!!     Severe noise pollution throughout the nights

    Avoid this hotel if you need to sleep at night !!Right in front of the hotel, demonstrations, loud rock concerts, and disruptive events take place several times a week. !! At night, between 10 PM and 4 AM !!The expensive rooms are so noisy that sleeping is IMPOSSIBLE.Hotel employees like David or Maria Rubio confirm this and say that the hotel knows this but is powerless against the local authorities. Unfortunately, the hotel does not inform its paying guests about this in advance. So, sleep somewhere else !!     This is a beautiful hotel. Very centrally located. The staff is very friendly and accommodating . The rooms are spectacular ! This was our second stay and we will be back!
