  The Worst Place Ever

  FILTH LIKE I HAVE NEVER SEEN BEFORE!!!· The apartment was FILTHY/BROKEN. The pictures have been heavily photo-shopped, lamps removed and different disgusting stained old furniture with polar fleece throws to cover the stains. THE BATHROOM: contained other peoples items, covered in slimy mold (could write yr name in walls with stick) thick mold and hair in base. SHEETS: old, limp, greyed and stained. Pillow made from old sheets. DISGUSTING!! The walls scuffed and stained and smeared with "god knows what" on kitchen walls and surfaces. COOKING: couple of broken old pots you would not put food in. Table cloth dirty with cigarette burns. THE TOASTER: did not work (said they would return with one tomorrow. Never did). THE WASHING MACHINE: machine did not work and had been badly damaged. The operating panel had been torn open exposing wires. You could electrocute yourself (reading past reviews a girl said she got a shock from the bathroom socket). There was rotting water in the bottom of it and it stank!! They refused to address it. THE HOT WATER SYSTEM: In the kitchen, the newly replaced water heating system dripped all the time. You could see missing wall tiles behind the water unit where the old system had fallen off. Lucky I wasn't there when that unit came crashing down. BROKEN KITCHEN BENCHES: A large part of the kitchen bench had been broken off just inches above damaged washing machine. THE FRIDGE: was warm and at no time did it reach a cool temp. We realise when the berries had all rotted in 36hrs. Thermostat broken and unsafe to put food in. DRYING RACK: missing the bolts and does not stand up. IRONING BOARD: collapses. LIGHTS: bedside lamps not there. The only lounge room lamp had a broken globe. The only ceiling globe was broken. SHOWER HEAD: loosely held up by cable tie, toilet brush rusted and filthy hanging off the wall. Spoke to the manager and got sarcastic response from young manager. Told me owner lives in Japan but told another 4 weeks prior owner in Pakistan.

  Hen couple of days, Not luxurious obviously but better than I was expecting

  13 ladies in 2 apartments opposite each other, we were on the 4th floor serviced by a small lift. There were 3 bedrooms and sofa bed in the lounge area, a small kitchenette and a shower and toilet, the shower head was broken, you had to hold the shower head while showering, and the water leaked out onto the floor, but there was warm water when I showered, so not all bad. We used the fridge and kettle but not the cooker, there’s a bakery across the road. The Metro is close by and Sagrada Familia about 15 mins walk away. There was a fair bit of noise so came back tired, but as a mature lady not really used to this type of break it was in fact ok, you get what you pay for. Wi-fi was free and I didn’t have any problems.

  My daughters' friend booked two apartments (bad choice on her part) for the weekend for a 'hen party'. We were nine ladies of different ages located in two apartments on two different floors. I have to say it has been a long time since I have stayed in such a bad place. Very dirty on arrival, mould in the bathroom and that was just the start. It seems as if they are running the place down as there is no evidence of any care or attention of any of the apartments in this block. I spoke to another guest who told me that his apartment was really dirty too so it seems it is the case for all of them. The bedding was creased with no mattress protectors so decided not to look. No lightbulbs, and pretty shoddy everything if I am honest. Would I stay here again? I think you know the answer to that.

  The apartment we have was different from apartment of photos from Booking site, furniture was old. I consider bad the value for money. Only one towel per person.No efficiency in contact by mail or phone, even if I was with a Spanish friend, communication was very difficult.

  The location of this place close to the metro and only a short walk from Sagrada Familia was the only plus. Apartment was filthy, with unwashed dishes of past tenants that still had food particles stuck on them in the rack. Shower was dirty and beds uncomfortable. Wifi did not work half the time. Overall disappointing.
