  Great location, apartment was really big way bigger than I expected with two toilets and a balcony. Apartment was clean and the appliances were also clean and good condition. Hotel self check in was very very easy and quick, way quicker than normal check in. Staff are nice too. Would deffo come back again

  This apartment was not at all as it appeared in the ad. It was dirty, worn out and full of fruit flies and the odd roach. Expensive and poor quality, but I guess you can charge a premium when you’re near Las Ramblas.If they have renovated, it was a while ago or maybe they hadn’t done our suite yet. Sometimes you should sacrifice location for a place that’s a little better.

  Liked · Great location, just 150m to La Rambla and another 150m to Liceu metro station. Little elevator helped us get our bags to the 5th floor. 2 air conditioning units (living room and bedroom) worked well. Apartment had all the basics including coffee pod machine and washing machine with drying rack. Quiet in the bedroom, away from street noise. Made friends with the tiny gecko who hung out near the bathroom.Disliked · Located on a narrow one way street with city garbage hoppers directly in front of the building entrance. Tiny bedroom only fit a standard double bed, which was pressed up against one wall. Bathroom was tiny, and doorframe and vanity showed signs of past water damage - chipped and warped. Shower doors didn’t meet in the middle so careful use of handheld shower was required to avoid a flood on the bathroom floor. Top floor apartment had tiny floor level windows on street side which let in street noise but no light. Bedroom and living room had doors opening onto rooftop courtyard with ladder to roof … could be a nice bonus space with the addition of some furniture, shade and lighting. Had trouble with the automated check in machine which wouldn’t scan our passports and had to manually enter all info, which took a bit of time.

  Place of sanity in a Sea of Uncertainty

  I arrived on Saturday March 7, 2020 and I had requested an early checkin. The maid was there cleaning my room so she locked my large suitcase in the maid's room but said she would be cleaning the room for several hours. I emailed the office and they indicated that there was an automatic checkin machine at the apartment complex and that checkin is set for 3:00pm. At 3:00pm, I arrived at the apartment, the office buzzed me into the vestibule of the building and I checked in with the machine and it gave me two room keys which i requested. When I got to the room, it was a key pad entry and I did not see a keypad password on anything I had so called the office and she said to put my card key against the keypad and it lit up and the door unlocked. My bag was waiting for me in my room. This is the third time I have stayed in an MH Apartment and second at Liceo. Apartment is very nice. Internet strong and stable. Location perfect for me as a friend has an apartment close by and my favorite social club is 5 minutes away. There is an amazing restaurant Bar Canete right next door. What happened next as Spananabis was postponed and fears of the Coronavirus swept Spain so I left the apartment and Barcelona a few days early but the apartment was wonderful and I will be back.

  Large apartment at a very reasonable price. An excellent central location but also very peaceful. A good size terrace to enjoy breakfast on sitting in the sunshine. The beds were pretty comfy and we had a good WiFi signal to keep teenagers happy...checking in was very simple, I was a little dubious about no front desk but it was very simple. The only downside was the bathroom was a bit smelly, possibly a plumbing issue, but don’t let that put you off, it’s an excellent place to stay, I thoroughly recommend it!!
