  DO NOT STAY HERE. We had an extremely disturbing experience at MH Apartments Ramblas that raises serious safety concerns. The apartment had a paper instructing guests to ensure the safe box works 24 hours before checkout — which we did. The day before departure, the safe opened normally and we removed our cash but left personal belongings inside, as we had read prior reviews mentioning theft at this hotel. That same night, around 10 PM, the safe suddenly wouldn't open, even though we used the exact same password we had throughout our stay — which was deeply suspicious. We called for help, and a man named Carlos answered. He hung up on us multiple times, accused us of lying, and was incredibly rude. After repeated calls, he finally said he would send someone in 30 minutes. A man then arrived, and when asked, “Are you Carlos?” he replied, “No, I’m Victor.” He didn’t know where the safe was and entered the apartment, where three girls, including a minor, were staying. After opening the safe, he pretended not to speak English but suddenly started speaking fluently when I took a photo of him (for my mom, out of fear). I told him it was for safety, and he replied “Okay,” then slammed the door and left. The next day, we emailed the hotel, and they responded saying no one named Victor works there and that taking a photo was illegal (which it is not). They also claimed that the man was Carlos — meaning either he lied about his name and language, or a stranger entered our apartment, which is clearly illegal. The hotel refused to take any responsibility or even acknowledge the seriousness of the situation. This behavior is unacceptable, dishonest, and unsafe. Stay far away from this hotel, especially if you are a woman, traveling with friends, or with children. Absolutely disgraceful service.

  Perfect affordable stay in Barcelona

  We stayed in one of the 2 bedroom/2 bath apartments at the back of the building. The apartment was quiet, clean and comfortable. Check-in is through a straightforward machine. The kitchen came equipped with everything you need to prepare meals including cleaning supplies. Washing machine with drying rack. There is a well stocked grocery store next door and a lovely produce store across the street. Great location off the Ramblas walking distance to the Boqueria Market, the Gothic Quarter, the metro, the harbor, and Plaza Catalunya. The street scene in our neighborhood was busy at night with lots of pedestrian traffic making it feel safe.

  Only good thing is that the "hotel" is near LaRambla. BAD check in with the machine. It took way tolong time to check in. Because of the machine. We called the office for help. There was a man there who was polite, but when the lady officer must learn to listen to the guests and not

  If you need s the comforts and services of a hotel, The MHM Apartment is not for you. Otherwise, it is a great place to stay in Barcelona ... less than 100 meters from La Rambla. The apartment we stayed in — #21 — was a two bedroom, two bath apartment. While we were three, there was ample room for four or more if yi7 use the sofa bed. The apartment is comfortable and practical.Good WiFi.Just a few practical considerations and — maybe — opportunities for improvement: unless you are staying for more than 5 days, there is no daily housekeeping; we outdoor not find at least one English-speaking channel on the TV but it has HDMI ports for you can use your laptop; there is a clothes washer but no dryer which kind’a makes it impractical to use; the room is air-conditioned but the air conditioning 7nit is located in the comm9n area with nothing in the bedrooms. During the heat of the summer, the bedrooms can get stuffy (as they were this trip and during a prior visit in August).We’ve stayed at the MH Rambla previously and would likely stay there again if travelin* in a group of three or more.

  Stayed here for the weekend with friends. Good location to access las ramblas with lots of supermarkets, bars and restaurants nearby. good access to the metro. Apartment had everything you could need, lots of space and large balcony (no views though)
