    Unacceptable and Humiliating Experience — Deeply DisappointedI stayed at Hotel Món Sant Benet to attend a friend’s wedding nearby. The hotel was recommended by the couple to their guests. On the night of April 29th, 2025, after returning from the wedding party, I went to the front desk to ask for some drinking water, since there was none in the minibar and we needed to hydrate — especially after drinking during the event.To my shock, the receptionist refused to provide any water, claiming that the bar was already closed. I calmly explained that I was with my wife and two young daughters (ages 3 and 4), and that we simply needed some water before going to bed. Still, he refused.When I insisted — firmly but respectfully — the receptionist called the police on me.Yes, you read that right: a guest asking for water at night ended up having his passport taken by the police at the hotel reception. Only after this humiliating situation, they finally agreed to give me a few bottles of water. The receptionist also refused to give me his name, even after repeated requests, which makes me feel extremely unsafe about staying at this hotel with my family.We are still staying here until May 1st, but I must say I have never been treated with such disrespect, coldness, and complete lack of empathy at any hotel in my life.This is not just poor service — it’s gross mismanagement and a total lack of common sense or human decency. A simple request for water escalated into police involvement, which is nothing short of outrageous.I sincerely hope the hotel owners and managers take this matter seriously. This review serves as a warning to future guests who expect basic courtesy, safety, and respect.

    Lovely but some details missing for the price

    This is a lovely hotel and rural setting. The rooms are large and extremely comfortable. The buffet breakfast is varied and the dinner menu offers several choices of fairly high quality. (We did not dine in the Michelin star restaurant that they also have.) We also enjoyed relaxing in the pool area. It is an expensive hotel and for that reason, I would expect some small details to be improved for this to be a five-star review. For example, there are no pool towels, there is no hand soap in the bathroom, and the bread at dinner is not of good quality. Some staff were extremely nice and helpful, but others required more training. This didn't spoil our enjoyment of the weekend, but it did surprise us considering what we had paid.     Trying to be on the luxury end without quite being there.

    We arrived here after completing the Camino Ignaciano. We mainly chose this hotel because they agreed to store our rental e-bikes until the rental company shipper could pick them up. The hotel is in beautiful grounds and the room was spacious and modern. The restaurant was good for dinner and breakfast. Overall though we paid way more for food and stay here than we did anywhere else besides the hotel room in the heart of Barcelona.     Great hotel with a a star Restaurant

    We stopped at this hotel on our way to Andorra and it was a find.The rooms are magnificent and if we had time we would have stayed an extra night. The chef in the restaurant looked as if if he had a a three rosette establishment. The preparation was superb and the food historic. His soup de langoustine with rice is a must have.     had a really nice stay, rooms are spacious and clean, had a maid visit every day to tidy up - we stayed half board but i heard the food was on the pricey side, as are the drinks. hotel were pretty strict about drinking by the pool, which is strange as they offered a pool/drinks service. had a really nice time though - only downside is its pretty far from a supermarket. a good 20 minute walk.
