    Family reservation cancelled without our knowledge -AVOID

    We arrived shortly after 3pm today after a flight and then travelled with two children across the city to check in. On arrival we were told there was no record of our booking. We gave our details -the confirmation booking email, evidence of payment and text messages from the hotel received just an hour prior to our arrival. The receptionist said to her colleague it was an overbooking. The story then changed and it was put to us that the issue was with booking.com. We were asked to wait in the seated area while they looked into it. As we waited , we then received a notification from our bank that a refund would be issued in due course and a notification from booking.com to say the reservation had been cancelled. I relayed all of this to the staff on reception. When I asked what were they going to do about it , I was told to contact booking.com myself , which I did. While speaking to the agent they informed me that our reservation had been cancelled five hours previously and the reason given to them was there was a "maintenance issue". I was on the phone for 45 minutes with the booking agent trying to find accomodation in a hurry. During this time the staff never offered any help, offered any suggestions on possible alternative accommodation in the local area, didn't offer us a coffee.. nothing. The hastily booked accommodation was 30 minutes away and I asked the receptionists to order a taxi which I expected the hotel would pay for. I was told they needed to check this first and was told the hotel would not pay for this. I am so appalled at the lack of care,professionalism and support that was shown to me and my family this afternoon.I asked to speak to a manager and was told there was no one. I asked the staff to go back and make a phone call which they said they had done but still no -the hotel would not pay the 15-20 euro taxi fare for us to go to the other hotel. This has totally derailed our trip ,we had planned our itinerary based on being in this location. My kids were really upset, hungry and stressed out as we tried to quickly find an alternative in a city that we don't know. I'm writing this to warn others of our experience. Avoid and save yourself a lot of stress and expense , look elsewhere if staying in Barcelona. Having your hotel room cancelled although it had been paid for was not our fault and it wasn't the end of the world but how we were treated today with such ambivalence and a basic lack of human decency is not acceptable.

    Nice hotel close to Poblenou area, rooms are modern, clean, well equipped, look like mini appartaments. Breakfast is also very good, excellent combination of continental and English. Position is good, 5 minutes walking from Bogatell metro station. Recommended!

    A stay at Naitly Barcelona Poblenou is one of the best decisions you can make when visiting Barcelona, whether for business or leisure. The pleasant atmosphere, combined with the professionalism and friendliness of the staff, will make your stay truly memorable. The reception team is efficient and eager to help. Communication before arrival was quick and smooth—we received all the necessary information via email and WhatsApp, and the online check-in process was very easy. All the staff is nice and ready to assist. The hotel is spotlessly clean, and the housekeeping staff is attentive and thorough. Just as a note, for future guests: there is no daily clearing. We received cleaning on the second day of our stay. The overall cleanliness and care from the staff were excellent.Our room was well-proportioned and included a workspace as well as a kitchenette equipped with a toaster, microwave, electric kettle, a fridge and tableware (cutlery and dishes). The hotel also provides access to laundry facilities. And we took the time to notice the refine and elegant artistic decoration throughout the hotel. Breakfast is tasty and varied, with a lovely selection of breads, buns, and delicious pastries, along with both hot and cold dishes. If you enjoy tea, you'll appreciate the assortment available. The staff is friendly, attentive, and always smiling, a perfect start for the day. The hotel is well located, close to public transportation (metro and tram), and both the city center and the beach are easily accessible. You can reach the center with a pleasant 25–30 minute walk. There is a supermarket nearby—just a 3–4 minute walk—as well as many convenience stores, restaurants, and cafés that offer a variety of options. The area is calm. Within walking distance, you'll find cultural landmarks such as L'Auditori and the National Theatre of Catalonia. Also nearby is Mercat dels Encants, a very picturesque flea market. Our experience was more than perfect—we felt truly welcomed.

    I stayed at Naitly in Barcelona and unfortunately had a very poor experience. The staff were not polite at all — they always seemed annoyed and uninterested, as if they had no motivation to help guests. They mentioned that the room would be cleaned every two days, but that never happened during my stay.Every evening there was a loud ventilation noise in the room that made it hard to sleep. I had to call the reception twice on different days just to get it turned off, which was really frustrating. On top of that, the hotel did not feel clean and there was a strong chemical smell everywhere, which made the atmosphere even worse.Overall, I would definitely not recommend this hotel. There are plenty of better options in Barcelona — do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else.

    Worst apartment and services.They don’t even provide you with the basic amenities in the room..No cleaning, not even coffee in the rooms.I asked for dental Kits but they refused to give us.Breakfast was horrible with lot and lot of salt .Very less option in breakfast .Overall very poor quality hotel ..Will never recommend for this.They don’t eve clean the rooms once you checked in.I asked at reception that my television is not working they said we can’t help you we are out of serviceVery rude staff Rude behaviour as if they are giving us free stay .
