Everything just works

Had a single room of reportedly 10m2 but was more than enough room for 1 person. Everything was in great condition and looked new. House keeping was frequent and efficient. Best of all, everything, including the mini fridge, the AC, the WiFi, the hairdryer, water temp and pressure, the HDTV with cable channels - just worked, brilliantly. Only issue was with the mini-safe which was fixed within 36 hours of reporting it late at night.Breakfast was great value for all you can eat although the 'hot' food (chipollatas, eggs etc) was always cold.Reception was always pleasant and cordial.Bit of a hike to the train station (trains to Barcelona were rarely on time, often 30 minute wait) but the local beach is just across the main road (under underpass). Plenty of supermarkets and tapas restaurants in local vicinity.Also the hotel's official website has a brilliant interactive 360 degrees tour of the entire hotel, including inside the rooms. Mine was 411.

Great surprise- modern and friendly hotel

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Very avante guard, rooms spacious and comfortable, bathroom clean and modern. Did not book breakfast, but dinner( a la carte) was delicious. Coffee also very good. The staff are amazing - very friendly and efficient, especially in dining room. Impressed by the chef too! Hotel is centrally located in quiet street, close to shopping streets, bars, markets, bus stop, and the beach.

Hotel were very quick at responding to messages about enquiring about a very late check-in due to ferry docking late. All staff have been very helpful & polite. Hotel is spotlessly clean throughout. WI-FI is excellent, beds, pillows are very comfortable, towels & toiletries are of a good quality. Breakfast is excellent & plenty of choice. Hotel is in a great location for the beach & town.

The location is great, just 10 min walk to the train station and the beach. The breakfast buffet is good, the staff super friendly and the rooms are very clean! The only negative point from my point of view is that pets are not allowed.

This hotel is a lucky find .reasonably priced .very clean .fantastic food! All staff very customer friendly . Especially Jose and Paul. Could not be nicer. Felt very comfortable . Didn't want to leave .great family vibe there .Will be going again as soon as possible .. Few mins from the beach in a lovely peaceful area of Mataro. Can't wait to go back .Thank you All staff for such a lovely relaxing stay .see you all soon .lots of love from Eve .x
