Location

The hotel is located on Plaza de Cataluña in Barcelona's business district. There are shops, boutiques, bars and restaurants as well as night clubs and good public transport links all in immediate proximity.

Facility

20 suites, 4 single rooms and 225 double rooms are located on 10 storeys and can be reached by lift. The reception desk is open round the clock. Amenities available at the hotel include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and drinks machine. Wireless internet access (for a fee) is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. There are a number of shops as well. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park (for a fee).     My group stayed May 22–24, 2026 and what was supposed to be a birthday celebration turned into one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had.At check-in on my birthday my room was not available. Staff placed me in another room and charged me an unauthorized third person supplement plus tourist taxes — fees with no basis in my original booking. I was so overwhelmed I was in tears at the front desk. I called American Express Travel for help and with five agents standing right there staff let the call ring unanswered until I physically walked up and told them Amex was on the line. Manager Adrian then promised the sofa bed would be set up before we returned that evening.Night 1 — we returned after midnight and the sofa bed was never set up. No bedding. No pillow. Nothing. I have photos proving this.Night 2 — I called the front desk to report it again. Staff tried to charge me €5 just to bring up a fork. When I raised the sofa bed still not being made I was told housekeeping was done and was offered only blankets. We returned after 1am. Still not set up. Two consecutive nights. Same broken promise.At checkout I raised the full complaint in person. Staff sent someone to inspect the room confirming they knew the complaint was legitimate. They still refused to adjust charges and promised a follow up email that was never received. Three broken promises total.American Express Travel has been notified and a formal complaint has been filed with NH corporate and the CEO. Do not stay here if you expect 5-star service.

    Such a great rooftop bar showing Barcelona! I definitely recommend the French Kiss if you come here. Imran was our server and made this experience so great!

    Great hotel in a fantastic location. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the rooms were spacious with very comfortable beds and quality linen. The breakfast offering was excellent, with plenty of choice. I would definitely stay here again when visiting Barcelona.
