    Good all round family option for Barcelona city break. Metro connections into city 10-15 min walking. Into central city within 30-40 mins. 15-20mins from airport. Local tapas options reasonable and area felt safe to walk at night.Hotel facilities are decent - pool, table tennis, relaxing environment and small gym. Rooms comfortable enough and quite modern for 3 to share (4 would feel quite cramped). Breakfast had good selection overall but got busy at weekend peak times so preferred to go earlier to eat. Suggest hotel make outdoor restaurant seating no smoking. Overall pleased to find this hotel on edge of the city with more space and fairly priced. Space to relax after busy days exploring the many Barcelona attractions!

    Clean Hotel and Helpful Reception Staff, But Disappointing Breakfast Service

    Our stay at Novotel Barcelona was a mixed experience. The room was quite small, but it was very clean and the Rituals toiletries were a lovely touch and added a bit of luxury to the stay.The front reception staff were extremely helpful and welcoming throughout our visit, which we really appreciated.Unfortunately, breakfast was disappointing. It was advertised as being served until 11am, however staff began clearing everything away around 10:20am which made guests feel rushed. We also found some of the kitchen staff and waitresses to be rude and unfriendly, which took away from the overall experience.While there were definitely positives, especially the cleanliness and reception team, the breakfast service could be greatly improved.

    We stayed here based on the 15 minute drive to the airport. Room was ok.We wanted to eat in the restaurant but it was so loud with kids everywhere in the lobby area that we ordered room service.As you probably already know, nobody comes to Spain for their customer service. You come for the food / history / Architecture etc.Food arrived cold and very below average. Being a captive audience, we shouldn’t have been as disappointed as we were.

    Although it's a bit far from Barcelona city center, if you're looking for peace, quiet, a nice breakfast, and you have a car, this is the ideal accommodation; you'll definitely get your money's worth.

    Nice and clean lobby. We stayed for four nights and have a dinner in first night which was very tasty and also live music. Swimming pool was closed for renovation. Small room and no coffee machine. Same breakfast every morning and not too much variety.good hotel
