  Hotel felt like a hostel, looked like a hotel, cost like a 5* with reception staff who seemed like they were security.

  The hotel itself was ok, however it fell short in a few areas which, for the amount I paid was not great. You could be forgiven for thinking that the reception staff (one person) were security, vetting anyone who entered with a ‘buanas’ as a greeting. That is it. I’ve stayed at much cheaper places and received warmer welcomes.I paid over €120 per night however, the safe was extra, charged per night, as was breakfast. The AC was the biggest surprise. It was controlled centrally so regardless of the temperature you set it as, and the other guests were cold, you got hot air coming in. Rang reception and they told me that other guests were cold so I should switch off the AC. I had to open the window to let come cool air in but of course was woken up by people shouting and dogs barking in the street. The hotel is next to an Indian restaurant so got a few people gathering outside and speaking loudly. If you are a light sleeper and prefer cooler rooms, this is perhaps not the best option for you. The location was convenient for the metro.The bathroom smelt of sewage for the duration of my stay which I did not expect.Overall, it felt like a hostel, looked like a hotel, cost like a 5* with staff that needed a reminder of the warmth of customer service.I would not stay here again.

  The hotel is located in a dark side street and it provides good soundproofing from the busy street. Relatively close to the metro and a couple of small shops where you can buy what you need. Staff helpfulness level 2/10, because probably the only thing the staff is interested in is non-stop smoking. On the other hand, I can praise the excellent English language. Room was very small. Price too high.

  I paid £150 per night for my 5 night stay in a single room.Ok so first the good: the room was clean and the shower room was decent. That’s all the good I can say. This room was one of the more depressing I’ve stayed in. A small window lets in little light from the central building well. The room reminds me of a dark prison cell. There was not even a bottle of water in the room. It has the basics and that’s all. Not somewhere you’d want to spend too much time in. I complained about the WiFi as it is about 2 megabytes, shamefully low for a hotel, but all I received from the receptionists were shrugs.There is a large notice on reception stating no guests to be brought to the hotel. Am I in a college dorm or a hotel? All in all not recommended.

  As in other countries, hotel rates in urban areas are significantly higher compared to those in rural areas, and Barcelona was no exception. While the price would have afforded a very nice room in the countryside, it was a typical business hotel. The location was within walking distance of Montjuïc Hill and La Rambla, with the nearest station, Paral-lel, about a 5-minute walk away. There were also many restaurants nearby, making it convenient. The room was clean but somewhat small, and the walls were thin, so noise was a concern. The staff were kind and stored our luggage after check-out.他の国と同様に、地方に比べて都市部のホテルの料金はだいぶ高止まりしている印象で、バルセロナも同様でした。地方だとかなり上等な部屋に泊まれる値段でしたが、一般的なビジネスホテルという形態です。場所はモンジュイックの丘にも徒歩で行ける距離ですし、ランプラス通りから歩ける距離でした、最寄駅はPalal-lelで徒歩5分程度、近くにレストランも多く便利でした。部屋は清潔でしたが多少狭く、壁も薄かったため騒音も気になりました。スタッフは親切で、チェックアウト後に荷物も預かってくれました。

  Not nice neighbourhoods and too pricey for the standard

  Neighbourhoods not very clean or nice. Poorly soundproofed rooms, toilet flashing with extremely disturbing noise. No cleaning one day. Key card deactivated repeatedly. Beds narrow and uncomfortable without top bed mattress. No tea or coffee boiler. Small TV with no international channels. Small Price set too high for the standard. Small single room with interior view towards an ugly backyard buildings.
