Location

The hotel recreates a stately home typical of the region. This Catalan farmhouse is moreover located in one of the most enchanting spots of the Osona area, in the province of Barcelona. With the Guilleries Mountains in the background, the blue expanse of the Sau reservoir at its feet, and the characteristic remains of Catalan Romanesque art inserted among green pine groves, it reflects the tranquillity and purity of its surroundings, and offers the option to undertake many activities related with nature. The town centre of Vic is about 15 km from the hotel and Barcelona Airport is around 80 km away.

Facility

The holiday village welcomes guests in a 2-storey building with 2 lifts and 38 non-smoking rooms. English- and French-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. A safe and a currency exchange service are available. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The complex offers various facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. There are a number of shops, including a souvenir shop. The grounds of the complex feature a playground and a lovely garden. Rooms are equipped with air conditioning and central heating. Guests can relax on the balcony or terrace. Rooms have a double bed or a king-size bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. A hairdryer and a telephone are provided in the bathrooms, which include a shower and a bathtub. Wheelchair-friendly rooms can be booked. Family rooms are available for parents with children.

The dining area includes a restaurant (with high chairs) and a bar. The holiday village offers a wide range of catering options. Bed and breakfast, half board and full board can be booked. A generous breakfast buffet guarantees a great start to the day. At lunch and dinner, guests can choose between à la carte and a set menu. Diet meals and children's meals can be prepared on request.     Absolutely disappointed with this hotel. Had high expectations based on prior reviews and this hotel just fell short. Customer service was abysmal. Recommend considering other options.     This was out first time staying in a Parador. From the moment we arrived to the minute we departed, we had the mnost perfect experience. Such a beautiful property. Large bedrooms. Very well appointed bathrooms with luxury products. Fabulous breakfast. An idyllic location.     The parador is located in an excellent area with marvelous views. Facilities are well kept and room was perfect. Did not had dinner but breakfast was very good with attentive and friendly staff.     What a lovely hotel!

    The location of the hotel is breathtaking - completely by itself on a wooded mountainside with panoramic views over the Sau reservoir. And it is so quiet, you will just hear the sounds of nature. The hotel is quite small, with about 40 rooms, and very personal. It all seems very old-fashioned in the nicest of ways. The staff is very friendly and forthcoming. The rooms are light, well furnished, spacious and very well maintained; cleaning is perfect. There are plenty of free parking spaces just outside the entrance, a garage is available for a fee. We stayed eight nights with half-board. Breakfast was small but exquisite with a selection of high-quality local produce. Hot dishes were made to order. The dinner was traditional with three courses that we could choose from the regular menu. All ingredients were fresh and locally sourced and the dishes prepared with much love and care. The waiters were friendly, fast and very attentive. The car trip from Barcelona airport takes about one and a half hour on good roads. Walking and trekking trails in the woods start just outside the hotel, a walk to the old St. Peters monastery is recommended. Interesting sights like Monastir de Monserrat, Vic and Rupit are easy to access by car. We were told that staying in a Parador is very different from staying in a common hotel.     Great hotel

    Stayed in this hotel with family & grandchildren. Wonderful location up in the hills. The view down to the lake was spectacular. Was made to feel very welcome, checking in took a little time but they have to do passport checks etc. Rooms delightful, we had a room with accommodated a grandchild, so a kingsize bed one end, corridor to a lounge area where the grandchild slept on a fold out sofa bed, (this was big enough for two children or people). Bathroom in-between the two sleeping areas. Breakfast plentiful, cold meats, cheeses, fruit, toast, eggs etc along with a hot meal. When we arrived we wanted to go swimming, they had changing rooms with showers by the pool, a big pool. We weren't allowed to swim to start with as there was a threat of a thunderstorm but checking the weather the threat went and we were allowed in the pool. Changing facilities very clean.
