  Booked this hotel expecting it to have a cost ‘Boutique’ feel (I guess based on the design-lead appearance and the philosophy of the hotel group that runs it). Be aware it is far from this. The rooms were nothing special, but acceptable and cleaned daily. Bathroom amenities were poor quality. Staff were very cold and indifferent - no smiles, zero care for guests, like they didn’t know they worked in hospitality. Worst thing was that whilst there was a coffee machine in the room, each pod was charged at Eur2! Not even 1 or 2 free per day. And the machine was a very specific illy type system where pods could not be bought in any of the supermarkets. This to me is completely unacceptable- a relative small thing that completely ruins the stay, but in keeping with this hotel’s attitude towards guests being treated as a burden, rather than valued. Hotel location was ok, 10min walk to beach, walk to park, and main shopping area. Metro station 5min walk. It was however on a busy ugly main road and the surrounding area, whilst pleasant, was a complete tourist trap with overpriced everything. If you book this hotel please temper your expectations otherwise look elsewhere.   Comfortable stay in Barcelona.

  The staff was wonderful and I found the room very quiet and comfortable. The location is excellent and within walking distance to several restaurants and attractions. I did pay extra for parking and found that process very convenient and easy. The parking garage is located within a short walking distance from the Hotel. I would highly recommend this place for your visit to Barcelona.   Like most places Has its good points along with a few drawbacks

  Very convenient location and comfortable mostly well appointed room. Could use better soundproofing and the modern well equipped bathroom was excruciatingly tight on space. Staff was Exceptionally nice and helpful. Staff. AC was slow to come on but eventually did a good job. Didn’t try breakfast as the nearby supermarket provided food and drinks that could be kept in the tiny frig. No USB outlets but I was lucky lucky to borrow the only converter they had to use with the cord I had to charge my Ifon. If you don’t mind Bringing earplugs and a European charger plug and are ok with squeezing in and out of the bathroom it’s a good place to stay right across from the main train station and close to major sites and transport options.   Pleasant Stay at Park Hotel

  Stayed for three nights at Park Hotel.and agree with three star rating. I enjoyed my stay, with the room being cleaned each day and fresh towels most days. Available upon request.I was situated at the side of the building (opposite the building works). A little disconcerting only to have a net curtain, so at night with the light on, anyone could potentially see through. Not too much of an issue whilst building works taking place, but wouldn't be comfortable with this if there were residents opposite. The room was a little shabby, but fine for a few days, and more importantly clean! All drinks (including coffee capsules) are chargeable to your room. I requested a kettle, which was provided. There is a cooler (not a fridge) in the room, so not overly cold. Roof top pool was welcome after a day of sightseeing. It's very shallow (0.8 meters), but I loved the views across the city. Location is perfect for El Born, seconds away from trendy bars and restaurants. A short walk to the Gothic Quarter, Barcelonetta and around 20 minute walk to Las Rambles. I didn't eat at the hotel, but menu looked interesting odern twist on tapas). Nice little bar to have a drink in. Staff were indifferent to visitors. I arrived by taxi from airport (booked in advance €40). Got metro back €6 and took around 45mins. Pleasant stay and would return.
