  Not helpful accomodation in Corona time!

  I booked non refundable in early January 2020, with arrival date April for 2 nights. Then Corona entered Europe. All countries in lockdown, especially Spain. Airlines provide a voucher that is valid for one year to rebook. This guesthouse says that before my arrival date I have to change to another date valid until December 31, 2020, after all, the booking was non refundable. How can I change if the tourism industry is locked. Nobody knows when the airlines will be operational again, all countries will cancel the lockdown and you can travel again. I do not necessarily want to cancel, but the guesthouse cannot fulfill its obligations because no tourist is allowed in Spain. In addition, the prices at this guest house at another time are 2.5x higher than what I paid. Just ridiculous !!!!! It seems that they have increased prices enormously. It is not willing to issue a voucher with a validity of one year. The entire tourist industry is currently working with a voucher, but this guesthouse refuses to participate.

  During a covid-19 pandemic to refuse to give refounds or change booking dates is totally unacceptable.We have tried contacting the hotel inumerous times and always received the same authomatic reply that they must follow their policy. There is no policy that attends what is happening in the world now

  The location of this hotel is fantastic for walking about, and access to airport. there are many beautiful cafes and restaurants nearby. The hotel rooms are very clean and well maintained. Very quiet hotel. 24 hour security. Staff are well versed in English and they are more than helpful. The price of the hotel rooms is very good. Highly recommended.

  Fantastic location, lovely staff and quirky, cosy rooms. Can confirm that the aircon work exceptionally well, the beds are comfortable and the room decor is lovely. Only improvement opportunities I would mention would be for hotter water and better wifi (we could not get it to work for anything other than facebook messenger).

  First of all it should have been simple to find, but Google Maps sent us on a wild goose chase - so here are some directions. Get the Aerobus to Universidad (€5.90) When you get off the bus, look for Starbucks. Take the road to the left of Starbucks for a couple of minutes. Cross the road and keep an eye out for Theatre Goya on the left. Go up the road to the right of the theatre entrance, and Pension Miami is just to the left of the archway on the left. It's super easy when you know, and just 5 mins from the bus stop. Our room was very small, but it was clean and the beds were super comfortable. The bathroom was also small but modern and clean. I'd stay here again for sure. If you're just looking for a room as a base to shower and sleep in, it's perfect. Close to Metro and tourist bus stops too, and a few minutes walk from La Ramblas so very good location. I'd heard warnings about pickpockets etc in the area, but never felt uneasy - perhaps as it was just out of season so although there were always people around we didn't really experience any big crowds.
