Location

This charming, family-friendly apartment hotel enjoys a strategic location in the famous business and leisure district of Sant Cugat del Vallès. The establishment is situated in close proximity to Can Sant Joan Business Park and is also near a large shopping centre. The centre of Sant Cugat is around 1.5 km away and is home to the Roman Monastery. Meanwhile, Barcelona is roughly 20 km away and offers a range of tourist attractions, as well as a beach. Barcelona Airport is approximately 25 km from the accommodation.

Facility

Guests have a choice of 18 junior suites and 4 suites located in two 2-storey buildings with lifts. The reception desk is open round the clock. Services such as a baggage storage service and a safe ensure a comfortable stay. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The apartment hotel offers various facilities for guests with disabilities. There are a number of shops as well. The grounds of the hotel feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional facilities include a TV room. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park. Further services and facilities include a car hire service, a transfer service, room service and a laundry service. Active guests can make use of the bicycle hire service to explore the surrounding area. The business centre is on hand for guests' business requirements and provides a fax machine.

Rooms

Rooms feature a living room, a kitchen and a bathroom. Air conditioning and individually adjustable heating ensure comfortable temperatures. A balcony is included as standard in some rooms. Rooms have a double bed or a sofa bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe and a desk are also available. Additional features include a refrigerator, a microwave and a tea/coffee station. A telephone, a TV, a radio and WiFi (no extra charge) provide all the essentials for a comfortable holiday. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower and a bathtub, as well as a hairdryer. Wheelchair-friendly rooms can be booked. The hotel has family rooms, non-smoking rooms and smoking rooms.

Sport

A sun terrace is a great place to while away the hours. There are many ways to relax or stay active at the apartment hotel, including cycling/mountain biking, horse riding, a gym, callisthenics and a spa. Activity coordinators organise an entertainment programme for adults and children.

Meals

Various dining options are available, including a dining room, a café and a bar. Guests can dine at the non-smoking restaurant, which includes a separate area for smokers (high chairs are available). Catering options include bed and breakfast and half board. A generous breakfast buffet guarantees a great start to the day. At lunch and dinner, guests can choose between à la carte and a set menu. Gluten-free meals, vegetarian dishes and children's meals can be prepared on request.

At first, I was hesitant to book this hotel after reading some reviews about customer service. However, to my surprise, the service was outstanding at the front desk and restaurant.Everything was very clean, and the design of the hotel, including the lobby and common areas, was sleek and modern modern. We also used the indoor pool and the gym, and both were excellent.Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and I would definitely recommend.

    Difference between the rooms

    Stayed in the Qgat hotel twice (September and November 2026): First time, I stayed in the main building where also the restaurant and the reception are located. The room was a bit disappointing: Small, dark, and not well insulated, so that I was able to hear the guests from next door talking outside past midnight. No way also to open the patio door due to the guests smoking outside next door. The second time, I stayed in the newer building next to the main building: Much better experience as it was a bit bigger and had much more natural light coming in. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was good. In walking distance, there's a mall but otherwise, there isn't anything in close walking proximity so that a transfer or a rental car would be needed (enough parking space at the hotel).

    This hotel has great service, especially Marc at the front desk. He was nice, polite, professional and willing to help with anything. Breakfast was good, pools were really nice.     Decent but …

    While I didn’t have high expectations, the experience still managed to disappoint. The room itself was decent, but the overall approach to service was not amazing and unwelcoming - especially in the restaurant and bar areas.For example, we asked to have breakfast outside (it’s summer and the terrace had tables), but were told this wasn’t possible without any clear reason. Later that day, we tried to get a quick bite with the kids around 20:15, only to be informed that bar service had ended at 20:00 and we had to go through the restaurant, which unfortunately didn’t offer anything suitable for children.In the end, what stays with you is how you’re treated. Small gestures can make a big difference.     Wonderful staff, very friendly and welcoming ☺️ lovely rooms and outdoor spaces. In a quiet area so not too busy or crowded but easy access to Barcelona city centre.
