Location

This city hotel is conveniently situated at the end of the famous Ramblas, not far from Plaça Cataluña. It is located in the cultural, historical and tourist centre of the city and is the ideal place from which to explore Barcelona. The most important sights such as Paseo de Gracia, Museo Picasso, Museo Macba, Liceu Oper, the Boqueria market, Marina Olimpic, the Gothic quarter and Sagrada Familia cathedral may be reached easily on foot. The airport is some 13 km away, whereas guests will find shopping facilities directly in front of the hotel.

Facility

The hotel has 108 non-smoking rooms, which are located on 7 storeys and are reachable by lift. English- and French-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available.     Recently spent one night at this hotel, wish we could have stayed longer. Traveling with our family required 2 rooms. We booked a Comfort Room with Twin Beds and a Designer Room with a King Bed. Both rooms were modern with spacious Bathrooms. The Designer Room has a Couch and a view of Las Ramblas. The room Cooling worked perfectly. Prior to arrival I contacted the hotel to arrange transfers from the Cruise Terminal to the hotel and for departure to the airport the next day. The hotel put me in contact with their preferred vendor. This process was perfect as was the actual transfer service. I was contacted by the transfer service as I was disembarking the ship confirming the driver was on his way. The driver met us at the Cruise Terminal exit door. We were dropped off at the front of the hotel. As we arrived early in the morning, understandably our rooms were not ready, the porter was very patient with us while we got items from our luggage before storing it until our room was ready. Guest services emailed me when our room was ready in the afternoon. This hotel location on Las Ramblas is a 5-minute walk to the Hop on Hop off bus and other transportation and a 10-minute walk to the Gothic Quarter. We had a light dinner at the hotel restaurant La Poma. Pizza, Pasta, and Sangria were great, wish they had a bar. We did appreciate the discount for hotel guests. Breakfast buffet was very good, and spread out in different areas of the room, which is the 2nd floor of the La Poma restaurant that overlooks Las Ramblas. Prior to checkout Guest services notified me that the Transfer service driver had arrived early and would wait until we were ready to depart to the airport. After checkout the porter guided us to the transfer Vehicle which was just around the corner. There is no parking in front of hotel. This hotel is an excellent place to stay when visiting Barcelona.     Exceptional service! The front desk personnel are amazingly helpful, responsive and they make you feel at home.Kudos to Tom, Hector and all the team members. They’re all fantastic!The hotel was super clean, the rooms are awesome and the beds are super comfortable.We had breakfast at the cafeteria and the food was amazing. The attendants are all so very friendly and the coffee was great!I will return to this beautiful city and will definitely be staying at this hotel again very soon.
