  Central location, clean rooms and bathrooms, the bedroom/dorm room is on the small side, can be noisy if there is a snorer. I was in a room in the back with balcony which is nice and quiet. A good guest kitchen and seating in the dining area. Friendly staff.

  Do not be put off by it being a youth hostel The apartments are separate with own lift. The rooms are very spacious bright and very clean and ideal for families It is 10 min walk to the cathederal and centre and tour busesWe had a 3 bedroom apartment which comprised of a single, a twin and in the 3rd 2 sets bunk beds plenty of storage. A well stocked kitchen and internal balcony with washing machine , a lounge with balcony overlooking street and kids park and occasionaly slightly noisy dog park Air conditioningThe communal area is very funky with an internal skate park. You can borrow skateboards. A roof terrace with a bar and pool and cheap meals and drinks are availableFree food fridge and cupboard, you can leave any excess you have for the back packets on a tight budgetVery friendly and helpful staff. Storage for suitcases Would highly recomend

  Excellent rock themed hostel with the friendliest staff and amazing location. They do breakfast and dinner in the common area where you can meet more of the tenants, and also offer a pub crawl. If you're looking to visit a fun and affordable way to visit Barcelona you can't really fail it.   I had an amazing stay at the hostel! I went there with my friend and we stayed 2 nights, it actually exceeded our expectations. The room was very clean, we chose a 6 bed female room, we had a private bathroom and a cute balcony. The place had a computer room if you want to go study or work from it, a TV room for chilling, and multiple common areas. The staff was really nice and friendly. I met some incredible people from all over the world, it was a very nice experience. The hostel is very well located, near to shops, restaurants, bus stations....I would definitely come back again on my next trip to Barcelona, and I highly recommend it to anyone planning to visit this incredible city!   Left early because of staff member Gian Franco combative nature and several service failures.

  Staffed with fun people but not all are courteous or mindful of their duties while working. Had two service failures and an incident where Gian Franco went out of his way to insult me. The bathrooms were not clean.Firstly they have a system where the front desk has to manually turn off the lights at 11pm. First night I was there I asked them to turn it off as it was past 11 and also asked them to manage a situation where the girl in my room was vaping. They asked for the bed number which I provided but I received no reply on messages and no follow up on this matter.Second night I had to go back to front desk again and ask them to turn off the lights. At that time I said you’ve failed to turn off the fing lights twice now it’s getting a bit annoying. At that Gian Franco asked if I could next time be less rude. When I asked him what he meant he didn’t answer. In my mind I was just using the fbomb as a matter of expression and not at all to put him down.Well it escalates from here. He chose not to answer and explain his view point but rather stated that this shows how my country is and how people there are uneducated. He furthermore proceeded to cut me off entirely and said he’s actually not working. So I asked him why did he offer to help me or why is he sitting at the front desk if he’s not working. No answer but he started to talk to someone else. I was tired and blown away by this level of aggression, I mean excuse me for being tired and using a few choice words in the process of explaining things, but the personal attacks by Gian Franco was unacceptable. I do appreciate that the management who I contacted at HQ saw this and refunded the rest of my stay. Needless to say based on this experience I can’t recommend nor would ever stay here again.
