  A serious security failure and a complete denial of responsibility

  My experience at this hostel was extremely disappointing due to a serious security failure that happened directly under staff supervision — followed by a complete refusal from management to take any responsibility.During check-out, my backpack was stolen inside the hostel, right in front of the reception desk, while two reception staff members were on duty. A person who was not a guest freely entered the building, interacted with staff, picked up my backpack, and walked out — all within seconds and without any kind of verification or intervention.This is not a small accident.This is a fundamental failure of access control and basic staff vigilance.What made the situation worse was the hostel’s response. Despite the theft happening:inside their premises,in the most supervised area,under direct staff visibility,involving a non-guest entering and exiting freely,the management repeatedly stated that the hostel bears no responsibility at all.They prioritized denying liability instead of acknowledging the obvious operational oversight that made the theft possible.I chose this hostel based on its high reviews, but this incident raises serious questions about the real level of security and the reliability of the supervision at reception. Guests should be aware that:Non-guests can enter and exit without being questionedStaff may not notice what happens directly in front of themManagement will refuse responsibility even when incidents happen under their supervisionThis is not the level of safety or professionalism one expects from a highly rated hostel.I hope future guests take this into consideration, and I sincerely hope the hostel addresses these problems instead of dismissing them.

  Clean, modern, great facilities and so fun! Have to special mention Caro for being so attentive and fabulous!!!! Access to the pool and towels is a great feature as well as regular social activities to participate in- Thanks so much for having us :)

  We had a triple room with an ensuite for a family of 3. Super clean and comfortable. Great decor and a lovely vibe. Breakfast was included and was varied. Would definitely recommend. The check in process was straightforward and you can leave luggage until 11pm and use communal facilities on your departure day. Exceptionally good value.

  Great place, great location, great stuff... I had been stay there for 7 nights and everything was perfect. Location is really close metro and bus stop. Whole hostel is so clean and fresh. Stuff is very friendly and helpfull. Especially Leslie. She made my holiday wonderful.   My girlfriend and me stayed for 2 night in a 4 people room. The room was clean and with enough space for the 4 people. They offered locker that you can put your clothes in and works with the card of your room. So is safe, the bathroom was not very good because it lacks in amenities like shampoo or towel, even a towel for the floor. So can be a little messy. There are bathrooms extra in the corridor that you can also use. They have a very nice kitchen and offered dinner for good prices. Also offer night plans, and walking tours. The staff is very friendly. Cons. It is close to the sagrada familia church but to be honest I think is quite far for the other main places to visit.
