  Best place for the family reunion trip. Three generations under one roof

  We stayed for six nights in the top-floor three-bedroom apartment (Unit A2) for a family reunion, and it was absolutely perfect for us. The apartment was spacious, clean, and quiet, with beautiful views and a great, comfortable layout. The location was ideal—peaceful yet convenient.One of the best parts was the large, cozy terrace where we gathered for family breakfasts and dinners—it created memories we’ll cherish. There was plenty of space for our 5-year-old grandson to play and run around, which made it even more special.The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, especially Laura, one of the hosts—she truly went above and beyond to make us feel welcome.We couldn’t have asked for a better place for our family gathering. Highly recommended!

  PLEASE AVOID

  I was hoping for a nice stay in Barcelona and I end up sleeping in mould and leaks from the ceiling. Please avoid - for the huge amount they are asking per night it is not worth it - full of mould, not cleaned at all, dirty beds, curtains, furniture !!! I will provide pictures - my trip was at the end of April 2024 . Not going there again and I wish nobody will go trough what I went trough - bugs, mould, dirt - Hopefully the host will think of the SAFETY of their guests and NOT ONLY THE MONEY!!!!! And I hope my review will help others think twice before booking .

  Total disappointment

  The apartment was very disappointing. Initially, we rented an apartment with a terrace and hoped to celebrate the holiday in a pleasant atmosphere. In reality, we received apartments in a terrible state, without a terrace. The apartment is in disrepair. The apartment needs renovation. Arrive in Barcelona at 8 am, check-in at 15:00. After the “cleaning” there were crumbs and debris on the floor throughout the apartment. Towels are dirty with black stains. Most of all, we were surprised by the shower, which did not close and each bath procedure carried a flood with it, we had to cover the floor with towels. Instead of beds, folding beds. The washing machine just broke in my hands, washing powder was not provided in the apartment. We called the hotline without success, we did not receive an answer and no one called us back. Instead of a good rest, we got a complete disappointment. The only positive thing about this apartment is the location.

  Quiet place short walking distance to la Sagrada Familia

  Nice apartments they have all that you need to have a good holiday or city break in Barcelona. The kitchen was well equipped, the flat was clean with towels, few toiletries, they have a lift and reception front desk working until 6pm. I was very happy with the place. Internet is a bit slow. around that area you have restaurants, mini markets, supermarkets, metro etc

  And that diamond is called Erika. The young lady that manages the apartments was so kind and helpful, she really helped to make our stay all we hoped for. I saw her helping someone every day, so it wasn’t just us.So, about The apartments. We stayed in a 2 bed which was a good size, and the second room came in handy when the husband snored one night! Everything you might need to start you off, toilet roll, washing up liquid and cloths, salt. There was bottle water and coke in the fridge that you could use but pay for (1 euro).Beds comfy, and heaters in the bedrooms made the difference on the colder nights. Al the important things were clean, but the rooms were looking a little tired and paintwork could do with a freshen up. Would be great if they had had safes in the room too. The location was about 10-15 mins walk from the Sagrada Familia, and from there you could connect to most other locations on the Metro. It looks like there isn’t much around there but there are plenty of supermarkets, coffee shops, bars and restaurants within 5-15 mins walk. The plus side being no noisy traffic. I’d recommend SOCO and La Viega for good food. The prices around this area are much cheaper than the main tourist areas too. There is a fabulous indoor market selling beautiful fresh food on Passeig de Saint Joan if you want artisan not supermarket. Wish we had one like it in the UK!On the noise front, the soundproofing is the best, manly the showers and toilets flushing, didn't hear anyone talking or TVs, I suspect its the ventilation system in the buildings. After the first night I stopped hearing it anyway.We arrived 7pm ish after Erika had finished for the day, and wasn't sure how to get in. All you need to do is call the telephone number on the door, and follow her instructions...simples. Might have been a problem without a phone so make sure you have one with you. if you enjoy a walk, don't take the metro, you can walk in to town via Joanic and Rousello, to join the Passeig de Graciq where all the designer shops are, then the Plaza Catalunya, which joins onto La Rambla. At the end of this street you will find the beach 🏖 Final piece of intel...there is a Costa by Sagrada Familia if you get desperate for a decent latte, the Spanish coffee shops don’t really do them UK style.
