Location

The hotel is located in Barcelona, right in front of the Barcelona International Convention Centre (CCIB). It is also right beside the Forum Marina and beaches, and just 100 m from the Diagonal Mar Shopping Centre, surrounded by the greenery of one of the city’s residential and business districts. The area offers excellent access by road to all parts of the city. The hotel is close to a number of public transport links to the city centre (5 km away) and the airport, which is approximately 20 km away.

Facility

262 non-smoking rooms, including 13 junior suites, 2 suites and 214 double rooms, are located on 17 storeys and can be reached by 3 lifts. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Services such as a cloakroom, a baggage storage service and a safe ensure a comfortable stay. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities.     We were a group of four people who stayed at this hotel for two nights.First of all, I would like to mention that the staff were very kind and professional throughout our stay. The location of the hotel was also convenient, and the rooms were clean and well maintained.However, the main issue was the lack of soundproofing in the rooms. Every time someone opened their door or walked through the hallway, the noise could be clearly heard inside the room. In addition, the air conditioning units were extremely noisy. Unfortunately, because of these issues, we were unable to have a peaceful and comfortable sleep during our stay.Another major problem was that the toilet flush systems in both of our rooms were broken and did not work properly. We informed the reception several times, but nobody came to repair them. As a result, we had to repeatedly use the restroom near the reception area instead.Despite the cleanliness of the rooms and the friendly behavior of the reception and housekeeping staff, I honestly cannot recommend this hotel. When guests cannot sleep properly or even use the bathroom comfortably, it becomes difficult to justify paying between €200 and €300 per night.

    Didn't know what to expect after seeing some mixed reviews, but we booked it anyway as we needed a hotel the night before joining a cruise. Well, I'm pleased to report that the hotel exceeded expectations. The staff were warm, friendly and our check in was great. The room was available sooner than expected, which was really appreciated, and it was perfect. We were on the 14th floor, so it was nice and peaceful. Finally, the breakfast was excellent with a great selection. The location was good. Slightly out of the city, but right next to taxis, trams and the hop on, hop off bus. There's also a lovely shopping centre within a 2-3 minute walk away with some great restaurants. Overall, we would definitely recommend this hotel. We are well travelled and have stayed in some amazing places, but we wouldn't hesitate in giving this a 5 star review.

    Good experience! Very warm and welcoming staff on the front desk who made me feel really at home. I had a beautiful spacious room, and the breakfast was INCREDIBLE. I Really good value for money, especially given the location. I’d definitely come again!

    I enjoyed staying at this hotel tho a few minor issues Great location for conference centre, nice big room with good shower and sea view, also close to Diagnonal Mar shopping centre also had supermarket for snacks. Friendly staff let me check in at 1230. Good cafe with plugs The AC was super noisy probably needed fixing and buttons hard to figure out. Kettle didn’t stop boiling. Breakfast wasn’t included. Far from airport compared to the part of the city where I normally stay. Pool was freeeezing and pool bar not open yet. Spa was full and not even allowed to look in.. but none of these are really a big dealI’d go back

    Very disappointing experience – not worthy of a 4-star hotel.I stayed at this hotel from April 17 to April 19 (Room 410) and unfortunately the experience was far below expectations.There were multiple serious issues during my stay:- Hygiene problems in the bathroom (toilet and bathtub were not properly cleaned – photo evidence available)- The in-room safe was not working, which is a serious security concern- The water temperature in the bathroom constantly fluctuated between hot and cold and could not be regulated- No service at the hotel bar despite waiting for a considerable amount of timeAll of these issues were reported at reception during the stay. I was informed that the hotel manager would be notified and that the problems would be addressed. However, no effective solution was provided and the issues remained unresolved.Despite all of this, I was still charged for a late check-out.What is most disappointing is that even after contacting the hotel formally after my stay, no satisfactory solution has been offered until today.As someone who travels to Barcelona regularly, I have stayed in many hotels, but this was by far one of the worst experiences in a supposed 4-star hotel. The price-performance ratio is completely unacceptable.I cannot recommend this hotel.
