  There is serious building working going on, lots of noise currently not recommendable . There is also lots of noise in general in the hotel and the rooms are not very practical. The plugs are in awkward places especially if you need to do any work with a computer. the kitchen is poorly organised. In general the rooms have not been well though out. The local is very central and the staff are very polite but with the current building work it is not a comfortable stay.   Great Location and Comfortable Stay ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

  My daughter and I stayed here when visiting Barcelona for a couple of days. The location is central meaning you are never more than about a 35 minute walk to the main attractions. The metro is just a few steps away and there are bus stops near by too. The apartment we stayed in was clean and comfortable and met our needs. The bed was warm and comfy and the room quiet at night and there was a kitchenette too. There is also a safe that does not require an additional charge. The staff were all friendly and helpful and other than the WiFi being very poor (it connected but did not work most of the time) and no plug for the bath tub (and when we asked, there was not one available meaning we could not have a bath) we were happy all round. Great affordable location to see the city.   Basic hotel with easy access to public transportation. Clean but not up to date. Breakfast offers small but not expensive, for fresher foods a bakery around the corner is a good alternative. Wifi was terrible, very week signal.

  Me and my friends stayed in this hotel, it was a lovely stay the room which we had was the loft suite, it was big clean and comfortable! It had a super king size bed and I single bed to, it was abit far from the centre but we used a metro or bus which was very easy to access,the breakfast was ok really they don’t do omelette only saw a boiled eggs but apart from that had a lovely stay and staff was very friendly and helpful they told us which bus to catch, would definitely come again APARTHOTELSENATOR, Director General at Senator Barcelona Apartments, responded to this review Thank you very much for taking the time to comment on Tripadvisor about Aparthotel Senator Barcelona.   I got little room with not much space. My friend was staying in another room upper floor and he got a bigger room with a lot of space he was happy to his room it was renovated and with space. Unfortunately they decided to give me a bad old room without enough space ground floor. The kitchen was very much similar than camping van has and the kitchen was in wardrobe never seen before. My friend upper floor had a better new kitchen but I didn't. There is also available balcony or terrace but 30e extra free it is ridiculous to take more money if want terrace or balcony. Is it really necessary to take payment of these everyday things they advertise terraces on reception's screen. Never heard before about this system a terrace with payment maybe it is a new thing and maybe it's popular here don't know. I understand if spa or pool somewhere else come with payment but payment of terrace sound strange to me. Usually I got a free upgrade to big room with balcony but not here. I think little rooms without space could be much more cheaper than larger rooms but price is same my friend paid same price than me and got bigger room. The city zone has a few food stores and cafes but not much else to offer for tourists. At least there is underground to go to centre for sightsee and shop. The zone is hillside location.
