This hotel is located in Montcada i Reixac near El Punt shopping mall and surrounded by Barcelona's main business and industrial areas. It is only 50 m from the Montcada-Ripollet train station and has easy access to Bellaterra's University Campus, the Parque Tecnológico del Vallés and Montmelo's circuit. It is only 14 km to Barcelona and Barcelona Airport is only 25 km away

Facility

4 junior suites and 101 double rooms are located on 3 storeys and can be reached by lift. English- and French-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Amenities include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe and currency exchange service. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities.     This is not a great choice for business travelers that may be used to American hotel service. The rooms don't have coffee makers or irons, the restaurant does not open until 7:30pm, and there are only 2 restaurants within walking distance. One night I went to the restaurant at 7:45pm, they told me their chef was not there, and maybe he would arrive in 10 - 15 minutes. I waited 30 minutes, still no chef - so I left. There is no bar, and there is very little in the way of a welcome. There are not smart TVs, so if you aren't fluent in Spanish, the TV is of no use unless you have an HDMI cable for your PC (and you don't need your PC for evening work). There are coffee machines in the cafeteria area, but you aren't allowed to use them if the restaurant isn't open.So, the location is not great, the amenities are not great and the service is not great. I usually stay in Granollers, which is wonderful! Great hotels, active community and many shops and restaurants. If you are headed here for business - head there instead.     Location was good, but no train service at the time of my visit. The room was not very clean. Black mud in some edges in the bathroom. Pool was closed but the customer service was excellent. Not really great value for money.     Poor customer service, not a 4 star hotel

    We were disappointed with the facilities and the customer service. When I was sick, there was no room service for dinner and no help to finding nearby food. The room had no kettle or coffee/tea despite being a 4-star hotel. Group tour guests were treated worse than regular guests. The hotel was also too far from central Barcelona.     nice and unexpected hotel

    before I was going to the hotel, I was reading the reviews and I was so scared that is not gonna be as good as in the real life. they say that in the hotel, the staffs are not nice and they don’t change the room every day . but for me the staffs, they speak English so well, they are really nice. They always saying hola, hola, hola buenos dias and everything. they changed the sheets everyday, they refill the towels for us when we brought that out to the beach. they didnt touch my stuffs. the aircon is working so CRAZY thay i freezed during the night. there is not that much of stuffs in the room, no slippers. the tv cant open youtube or netflix (maybe its just my room) they have languages in the tv for the parametres. THEY GOT VIETNAMESE and I WAS SOOOOOOO SHOCKED that they have it in spain. im happy. im so contented. there is a big lidl nearby, and i could buy my food there. i didnt try the breakfast or the swimming pool. nearby is a small mall that they have a supermarket, a bar, a breakfast small resto, and a nail salon. the way in is a bit weird to find. really close to the rondalies, but have to wait so long for it to come Rubén López, Atención al cliente/recepción at Sercotel Ciutat De Montcada, responded to this review Dear Emma;Thank you so much for your detailed and positive review!     Extremely Disappointing Stay – Poor Hygiene, Cockroaches, and Neglected PoolI absolutely do not recommend this hotel. My girlfriend and I checked in on June 22, booked via Booking.com. We were first given room 343, which had a strong, unpleasant odor, a broken bathroom countertop, mold in the bathroom, and worst of all — cockroaches.The next day, we requested to change rooms and were moved to room 326. While the smell was gone, we once again found a large cockroach near the bed in the evening. My girlfriend, who is terrified of insects, was unable to sleep and cried most of the night. What was supposed to be a relaxing vacation turned into a stressful and upsetting experience.The pool area is also in very poor condition. The glass panels surrounding the pool are dirty, ruining the view, and the pool walls are cracked, with tiles falling off. It felt completely neglected and uninviting — not a place to relax.We submitted an official complaint. The hotel offered only a 20% refund, which is completely inadequate given the level of discomfort and hygiene issues we encountered. As of writing this review, I am still waiting for a final resolution and proper compensation from the hotel and Booking.com.This hotel does not meet basic cleanliness or service standards. For the price, you can easily find a much better and safer place to stay. I strongly advise future travelers to avoid this property.
