With the new direct tramline travelling from Avenida Diagonal to Francesc Macià Square through the city centre and business area, you are just a 30-minute ride away from Barcelona as well as a ten-minute drive from the airport and the exhibition centre. The hotel can be reached from the A2 motorway, taking the Sant Just Desvern exit.

    We had a pleasant stay at Sercotel Porta Barcelona, staying here to watch a Barcelona Women’s match at the nearby Estadi Johan Cruyff.The staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming, which set a great tone from the start. The room was clean and perfectly adequate for a short break, though the air conditioning could have been a bit stronger. Strangely the key card kept de-registering from the room, but the staff always quickly resolved it with a smile.Breakfast was nice, good variety and fresh options to start the day. The local area is quiet, which made it easy to relax, and getting into the city centre was simple thanks to the nearby tram. Overall, a solid base for exploring Barcelona with great service and a calm atmosphere.

    Booked through Choice hotel and cancelled with free Cancellation policy.However, the hotel still charged me for the cancelled room and produced dubious information to credit card company stating there is no free cancellation while there is.Be aware of booking with this hotel, once you booked, your money is gone.

    Lovely hotel. Clean and tidy with great service. It's about a 40-50 minutes commute into the centre but the transport is excellent. Beds were comfy. No kettle, but being your own tea bags and ask for boiled water and you'll get a lovely teapot.

    A good hotel with comfy beds. Their room service was not good . The phone to reception did not work . No kettle in the room. Not able to get change from front desk. Also the vending machine for snacks and drinks was empty . It’s a good ten minute walk to amenities so that was a problem . Getting extra loo paper was exhausting asking

    Friendly reception staff ready to help. Clean area, convenient location. Within walking distance are shops, supermarkets, cafes and the wonderful de Torreblanca park. Rooms are clean, there is air conditioning, hygienic set. No slippers. Thin walls, - you can hear the neighbor snoring behind the wall or just talking. Breakfasts are great.
