Location

The hotel is located near Gaudi's Sagrada Família, in the heart of Barcelona's Eixample. Guests will be able to find all modes of transport in close proximity. The hotel has 105 rooms, including suites and 100 double rooms, which are located on 8 storeys and are reachable by lift. Guests are warmly welcomed by multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the 24-hour reception desk in the lobby. Check-in/check-out service is available round the clock. Amenities available at the hotel include a baggage storage service and a safe. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday.     I just checked into this hotel and immediately had a terrible experience. One of the main reasons I chose this property was for basic comfort, but unfortunately, that was not the case at all. One of basic accommodations listed online is air conditioning. The room has no functioning air conditioning-the unit is completely locked on heat. When I contacted the front desk, I was told by Carlos at the front desk that all rooms are set to heat and that there is no way to adjust it. Their solution? Open the window. That's not a reasonable fix, especially when the room is extremely hot and uncomfortable. I explained that the temperature made it impossible to sleep, but there was little to no concern shown. Instead of offering a real solution or even a sincere apology, I was handed a fan.To make matters worse, this is supposed to be a four-star hotel, but the condition of the room says otherwise. The walls are scuffed up, the bathtub is worn, and the shower faucet looks like it hasn't been cleaned in ages. It feels neglected and far below the standard you would expect. This is completely unacceptable. Guests should not have to deal with unbearable room temperatures or poorly maintained rooms. I would not recommend staying here unless you're prepared to be uncomfortable and disappointed. This is definitely not 4 star accommodations.     Disappointing Stay and Unprofessional Service

    We stayed for two nights and unfortunately won’t be returning.From the start, there were several issues: the toilet paper holder broke on first use, there was rust on the bathroom faucets, constant noise through the window at night, and the TV had no internet connection. Although the hotel advertises 24/7 reception, it was very difficult to reach anyone around midnight, and when we did, the response about the TV issue was dismissive, with no apology or solution offered.What ultimately led me to write this review was the behavior of one receptionist (young man with glasses and a beard, around 7:30–8:00 pm). While I was unwell, my mother politely asked him for water for my medication. He responded in a rude and dismissive manner. When I calmly addressed his tone, he continued in the same way and refused to provide his name when asked.this level of unprofessional behavior is unacceptable. I hope management genuinely looks into this matter.     Enjoy lunch on a rooftop with THE best view of La Sagrada Familia

    Only a 4 minute walk from Sagrada Familia, this rooftop terrace serves up fabulous views as well as drinks and food at very reasonable prices. Non residents of the hotel pay an entrance fee of €7 when booking. I was welcomed, given a choice of seating looking straight at the church and enjoyed a refreshing glass of sangria alongside a very generous portion of nachos. Had a lovely time!     I pre booked this (approx a week prior to visit) for my and my son as part of his 18th birthday trip. It was €7pp which is not refundable or taken off your bill. When I say, the experience exceeded expectation! We got the perfect seat, directly looking at the Sagrada Família. Staff were friendly, we had yummy cocktails and delicious nachos to share. We didn’t feel at all rushed and it genuinely was a highlight of our trip. I have and will recommend to everyone and if I’m ever in Barcelona again, I would and will return! Fabulous treat.
