  Such a cool hotel!

  Really enjoyed our stay at the Sir Victor, very hipster and unique hotel, eclectic decor, and great rooftop bar. Would not have even known that the bar was so hopping, as the hotel itself is pretty quiet.   Great location and design, but the rooms disappoint

  Great location, perfect for shopping, transportation, Gaudi, etc. The building’s modern architecture is striking and interesting, as is the lobby, lounge and bar area on the ground floor. Service staff was young, friendly and helpful. A very modern, stylish, hip vibe generally. Upstairs, however, the hotel looks worn and scuffed up, from the dirty carpet in the corridors to the scuffed paint and scratched and worn wood flooring everywhere. The Sir Boutique room, facing the street, was stylish and well lit, but with an awkward layout with toilet and bidet (no sink) in a little room immediately next to the entrance, and the rest of the bathroom (tub/shower combination with a deep tub to step over) on the opposite side of the room. 🤷🏻‍♂️ And possibly the worst, thinnest bath towels I’ve ever had in a good hotel. They seemed ancient. The bed, thankfully, was extremely comfortable. The steakhouse on the ground floor is attractive and enjoyable. I wanted to like this hotel more. Overall a solid 4 stars for the location, design and public spaces and restaurant but 2 stars for the rooms and hallways, which need a refresh. It would be hard to recommend this hotel in a city with so many alternatives.   Beautiful Hotel in a Great Location, Some Service Hiccups

  Chic, ultra-contemporary well-maintained hotel in a great location near all the high-end chain and boutique shopping. The room was beautiful, very modern, with a comfortable bed and a large separate shower.One small disappointment was noticing that guests checking in after us were offered a complimentary glass of cava, which wasn’t offered to us.Breakfast itself was very good — a nice buffet plus made-to-order options with local specialties and cava. However, there was an awkward and uncomfortable exchange on our arrival day when we went to breakfast and were told it would be €39 per person. At almost all upscale hotels in the U.S., breakfast is included on the day of check-in, so this may have been a cultural misunderstanding, but as guests it didn’t feel great.Overall, a beautiful place to stay in an excellent location, though customer service could use a bit of refinement.   Don’t stay at this hotel, not worth it

  I’m really sad for having to write this review. I had really high hopes for this hotel but turns out I was quite wrong.To begin with, the staff is not what I expected for a 5 star hotel. They are a bunch of unprofessional people that even made fun of other customers in front of me.Following with the rooms, they really REALLY need maintenance (see the pictures) not only some furniture were missing but some of it looked dangerous (like the hanging cables and the loose light switches). Also unhygienic with some really strange stains on the rug.Finally, be aware they are running some sort of a club in the ground floor, which is not very pleasant having to enter the hotel with crazy loud music.All in all, spend your money somewhere else, it is not worth it here.   GREAT HOTEL IN BARCELONA!

  I didn't know about Sir Victor until I was assigned to stay there during a citywide tradeshow. I loved it from the beginning! The rooms are nice and big enough (trendy and well designed). I loved the blue jean robes and black slippers. The lobby level bar and restaurant are excellent and the service is good. The lobby included a pool table for entertainment and the rooftop bar is fabulous with views of iconic Barcelona. I liked the option to forgo room cleaning for a glass of wine at the rooftop bar too. The location is excellent for walking to the best areas of Barcelona for shopping and restaurants. But the absolute best part of this hotel is the service! The reception staff were well-trained, friendly and always going above and beyond. I would like to call out Jose Gomez and Pablo Fernandez for their help every day! Pablo even, on his own time, retrieved a wallet I had inadvertently left in the safe, took it to a friend who was still in town at another hotel so she could bring it back to the US for me. Now that's extraordinary service. I highly recommend Sir Victor in Barcelona and can't wait to get back there.
