    Had a lovely stay here. We had a double room with balcony which overlooked the interior not streetside. Really comfortable & enormous bed, plenty of hanging & storage space, seating area and outside seating on balcony. Towels changed daily and room cleaned to a high standard. Free coffee, tea milk provided and extra soft drinks/beer if wanted in mini-fridge (chargeable). Quiet room on 8th floor, could hear water running from showers etc but otherwise no noise. Lovely reception staff, friendly, welcoming and polite. No problem storing our luggage before and after checking in & out so we could enjoy our 1st & last day. Nice area around hotel, plenty of cafes and restaurants within walking distance for breakfast, lunch or dinner if you don't want to go into centre. Great transport links, we used local buses to get to sights eg Parc Guell, Mont Juic but metro stop also close by. Would stay here again as preferred the quietness of the area to the hustle & bustle of the centre.

    A LITTLE GEM! Especially for gluten free visitors.

    Just completed a 4 day stay at this little gem of a hotel.front of house staff Anna,pablo,Adolfo,and Jose were invaluable help to uk strangers,helping us to do all the touristy things near bye.The room was impeccable and the cleaning staff were excellent and prompt.The metro is 140 metres from hotel,enabling us to get to pretty much everywhere in Barcelona in 15 to 20 mins.Sagrada cathedral and Las ramblas just 10 mins away.All in all,a great place to stay,easy transport links and lots of good restaurants in the area including gluten free choices all near bye.A roof top sun deck including shower facilities ,when your done sightseeing.This hotel ticks all the boxes,oh and the breakfast is as good as many larger hotels offer.THANK YOU U232 ON A MEMORABLE EXPERIENCE.WE WILL BE BACK!!!!!

    We liked the look and location of the hotel which is why we booked it and we definitely made the right choice. The rooms were exactly what we needed and the hotel staff were extremely friendly. Our son is coeliac and the staff couldn’t do enough for him. At breakfast they provided him with a choice of bread, pastries etc. There were also plenty of nice coffee shops in the area and gluten free restaurants/bakeries, which is the other reason why we chose the hotel.

    AVOID! This hotel has completely ruined my trip. ​Instead of relaxing in a good 4 star hotel on a busy two-day trip, I suffered in uninhabitable conditions and was shouted at by the receptionist. My nightmare started at the check-in when I was charged a €50 deposit on top of the room fee, which wasn't mentioned at the time of booking. Ok, this happens. but they didn't give me any receipt, just the room key. When I kindly asked for a detailed invoice that would mention the €50 deposit fee, I only got a receipt for the room. ​When I insisted that they were obligated to provide me a receipt for the deposit, an employee named Pablo verbally abused me in front of the lobby, and then started speaking about me in Spanish to other clients! I have never been treated like that by customer "service" in my life.I had nothing else to do but to go to my room as it was very late. I thought my nightmare would end there, but it was only the beginning! I found a room with 29 degrees (that's in April when it's only 10 degrees outside). I couldn't sleep because it was either too hot, or I would switch on the AC and it would blow directly to my bed, very cold air, no matter the temperature I chose.​The room looked nothing like 4 stars. Look at pics: bathroom sink all cracked, bathroom door with water damage, floor worn out and stained. A bad hairdryer, no toothbrush, no slippers or a robe. They didn't even give a free bottle of water—and their "free coffee" was a Nescafé! After a sleepless night, I reported everything to the reception—other employees seemed nice and promised to do something. However, when I came back, it was Pablo again... I can't believe an employee can verbally abuse a customer and still be working there! I had no choice but to spend another sleepless night in a hot sauna.When I checked out, another guest reported they had no heating and were forced to sleep in jackets. So obviously, the building’s climate control is a total failure!
