    I just wanted to say 1st time ever stayed at a hostel and I have to stay was amazing, I loved every single minute of it. Everyone been so friendly, nice, charming and sweet. Especially the girl at the reception called Sofia she’s so friendly and sweet and really helpful. Will defo come back to unite hostel again for sure.

    My stay at this hostel in the beginning of June 2025 was a great experience. The location of the hostel is perfect to get anywhere in Barcelona easily, a few minutes walk from the metro and Barcelonetta beach.The hostel is clean, well maintained and very organised. The people running the hostel are very friendly and obliging. The guests were a nice crowd as well, met a couple of nice people in the common room and at breakfast. The breakfast has all that you can ask for at good quality.In all the hostel was so nice, that after staying at the next hostel, I came back to this hostel again. Thanks to the efficient staff - Lux, Maria, Ruta, Nadia, Eugenia and their awesome manager Joel.     I had a difficult stay at Unite Hostel in a shared room. I was awoken at 4am by one of my roomates who had climbed up to my bunk bed and was clearly trying to steal something around my bed. I had my phone out of the lock box to serve as an alarm for my flight. When I asked what they were doing, they ran out of the room. I notified staff, and security came up to note the beds they were in. No police report was filed. One hour later, two people came into our room loudly and woke me again. This time, they went into the shared bathroom and had loud sex. I notified staff, and they removed the woman but not the man. He then returned to my room to sleep after breaking multiple Unite rules.I appreciate the security guard, but I did not feel safe sleeping because the Unite staff told the man that I had issued the complaint. No police report was filed. Unite Hostel refused to move me to a different room. I couldn’t shower in a clean bathroom. Finally, they were too cheap to return my payment for the room (45 Euros) because I "should get a solo room if I don't want these issues".If you want a party, this is the place for you! If you want SAFETY or SLEEP, please stay somewhere else. The Unite Hostel staff (Maria, Luz, and one other person who laughed at me) don't have your safety in mind. I emailed the manager, Joel, to have an honest conversation about my experience, but have not heard back.

    This is a nice centrally located place. The staff were nice. The problem was that there were 2 girls in the room of 8 women. They were PIGS they didn’t pick up after themselves. They tracked sand everywhere. They were loud until all hours (2-3am) they had no RESPECT for themselves or anyone else. My bed had sand in it every night. Make sure you request a room with responsible adults.

    Clean dorm, Clean bathroom and Toilets. I was very skeptical of staying as I have only ever stayed in hotels. But I stayed in an 8 mixed dorm. The staff were nice the guests I was with were nice and the other facilities there were very trendy. Very ideal for a young backpackers
